A traditional Cornish Cottage with contemporary design, natural features exposed and finished with high-end, sustainable and ecological furnishings. This is an ideal location to explore Cornwall and unwind at the end of the day in a homely environment. The Cottage is a 200 year old barn conversion and formerly formed part of a working farm. Nestled in the quaint village of Whitecross on the outskirts of Wadebridge, conveniently located in one of the most desirable areas of North West Cornwall The space We've designed the cottage to retain the look and feel of a character Cottage property while ensuring the living is clean, modern and luxurious. Our home has recently been renovated and elevated to a stylish level while being mindful of the ecological impact. It’s not self-sustaining but incorporated are small elements to the design that make a big difference to our carbon footprint. The worktops are made from bamboo; beds and sofa are made from natural ethically sourced materials and hand made in the UK; the walls are painted with lime wash which contains no harsh chemicals: the banister is made from reclaimed materials and our energy is supplied by Bulb. The property has high speed Wi-Fi, Freeview TV, Bluetooth speaker for your devices and all the normal appliances you find at home. The Cottage has two double bedrooms. The living and dining area Is open, spacious and deliberately set on the 1st floor to give you panoramic views of farmland, the Camel Estuary, Padstow and the Atlantic Ocean. There is a large sofa and ottomans that will comfortably seat 4-5 people, an island breakfast/dining bar and wood burner for the cosy nights in. Other things to note Please make the most of the beautiful country lanes and dog-friendly beaches; please note fields are not permitted for dog walking, they are private property. Lime Rock is pet friendly but please be aware the garden is bordered by a hedge and a fence that some dogs may get through so please do not leave dogs unattended. Dogs are welcome to enjoy all rooms of the house but please do not let them in the beds.
