Private room/private bath in clean, quiet, and light-filled home. This single-story home in beautiful North Tacoma feels like a retreat, yet it's close to everything! Enjoy the peek-a-boo view of the water from the living room or front deck, then take a short trek to Point Defiance Park to unwind amongst the old growth. Also, right around the bend you'll find the Proctor district, Downtown & I-5, 6th Ave, and much more! The space The home itself is comfortable and clean. Large windows surround the entire living space, creating a light-filled and open environment. French doors in the main living area provide access to the front deck where the ever-present sights and sounds of Pacific Northwest nature await - A real treat on clear days! A local deer population resides within the surrounding area and can often be found foraging in nearby neighbors yards or crossing the streets. Your private room has very comfortable sheets and pillows, always freshly cleaned! This room was originally the master bedroom before a remodel - And for that reason a small private quarter bathroom is attached as well as a large closet! There is a cozy Queen bed which is perfect for 2 guests. Additional storage for clothes and personal items can be placed in the hefty nightstand or in part of the closet with hangars provided. Upgraded WiFi throughout the home can handle just about anything for those who work remotely. The shower is across the hallway from your room in a larger, shared bathroom. Supplemental high quality fresh towels, shampoo and soap are available. The remodeled kitchen has brand new cabinets, countertops and appliances including a gas stove/oven. Light breakfast snacks, fresh coffee, tea, juice, and other beverages rotate seasonally and are readily available. A variety of coffee brewing tools at an arms reach, including a French press coffee grinder (with provided beans) to make things easy as well! Guest access SUPER EASY CHECK-IN with keypad allows check-in anytime after 3pm, late night arrivals are of no concern. During your stay, you may access the main living space, kitchen, shared bathroom with shower, and your very own private bedroom & bathroom. Access to laundry machines are by request for multiple-night stays, if needed. Additionally, on the odd chance you happen to be a professional musician in need of some practice time... there is a well-maintained Steinway grand piano tuned up and available for use, by request in the studio area. During your stay If our schedules happen to align I do like to socialize if you want to plan a meal, excursion or just to chat over morning coffee to get to know the area. I keep a fairly busy schedule, including some strange hours, but try to make myself available as much or as little as needed! Additionally, I'm happy to accommodate special requests. Other things to note Longer-term stays are considered on a base-by-case basis. Please inquire if you are interested! It is Tenant's responsibility to immediately notify the owner of any issues that they incur during their stay so that they may be promptly addressed. The owner of the North Tacoma Bungalow shall not be held liable, or otherwise take any responsibility, for any injuries that may occur to Tenant, and/or Tenant's invitee, that is caused or permitted to be caused by the intentional, unintentional, negligent, or careless acts of said Tenants, and/or invitees to the North Tacoma Bungalow, the property and/or the possessions on the property including all structures and equipment. By the written or electronic endorsement of this Agreement, Tenant agrees to forever hold harmless and indemnify the Owner of the North Tacoma Bungalow from any liability and/or responsibility arising therefrom.
