Idyllic Riverside Cottage

NO LONGER AVAILABLE FOR BOOKING. With views of the Simonside Hills and stepping stones over the River Coquet, there is nowhere better to sit and relax. Perfectly placed for access to Cragside and other Northumbrian treasures, this cottage has a ground floor bedroom and bathroom. The space Children can run free here...a river and stepping stones just outside the front door, so much to explore. For the grown ups, a wood burning stove and a wonderful view. Guest access Two upstairs bedrooms, one double and one with a double and a single. Also an upstairs bathroom with toilet, basin and tub. Downstairs, a twin bedroom and bathroom with toilet, basin and walk-in shower. A fitted kitchen with oven, fridge and microwave, breakfast room, washer and tumbler all at the back of the house and a sitting room at the front containing wood burning stove and with sun room extension. Front and back doors, one accessed by steps, the other by the rear gate to the road. Parking at the front of the house with no restrictions. Other things to note There is no wi-fi, and the mobile phone signal depends on which network you are on. Pick us if you want an "off-grid" experience.
