Groovy Country Pad

**Note: Access road from Junction to the Eagle Mt. Ski resort is closed for the winter. This Groovy Pad takes you back to the 1970s. Enjoy the tranquility of small town or the adventures of exploring Southern Utah’s color country and parks, or use it as a home base, a place to rest for the next adventure. Fish Otter creek, explore Bryce Canyon, Big Rock Candy Mountain, ATV trails or the Mystic Hot springs; or take long drives down Highway 12 into the Grand Staircase to Boulder, and Capitol Reef. The space This white brick home is split into two units, the main floor at ground level and a separate basement apartment. You will have use of the entire main level of the home. (The basement has its own separate entrance.) The 70’s decor, in this Groovy Pad, includes rust-orange shag carpet, rust leather couches in a spacious living room. The hippy bathroom features orange sinks and an orange bathtub. The living room has ample sectional seating in front of floor to ceiling windows with a view of the mountains to the west and often a stunning Utah sunset. A touch of the modern is the wall-mounted television that carries local and internet channels, thanks to Wifi. If you have an Amazon or Netflix or any other paid subscription television service account, you may use it during your stay. This Pad has a nearly 1500 square feet pad with 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and a half bath in the washroom where a washer and dryer are included. The has been newly remodeled with deep green kitchen cabinets, an epoxy countertop and new wood look laminate flooring also in the dining area, with a table that seats 6 to 8 and a counter for 3 more, a round table that seats 4 is in the living room, good for games or puzzles. The kitchen has plenty of utensils, pots, and pans for cooking your meals and snacks, along with coffee pot, microwave, toaster, plates, bowls, and cups. The town has only one grocery store so you would be well advised to bring your own food if you intend to cook. There are some food supplies in the cupboards for emergency use. There are no restaurants or fast food outlets in town, although the service station has some snack, quick meals. A carport and driveway provides room for one car near the entrance and several others and even an RV in the long driveway. Sister property to Peaceful Easy Stay for Your Southern Utah Getaway! Guest access The Keypad Lock is on the door in the Carport at the south side of the house, there are three steps up to this door, as well as two or three steps up to the front door and the sliding glass doors in the back of the house. You get the Main or Ground floor to yourself. There is another apartment below, in the basement, that is usually occupied, so loud activities should be kept to a minimum if someone is staying there. It has a separate entrance. You have use of the carport and driveway, but may share it with the Basement occupants. Other things to note For fun, this property contains a number of furniture pieces that have secret compartments hidden within the furniture. Please feel free to try and discover how to access them. If you need additional space for a larger group, please ask us. We know of another space that might be available for use with this property. ATTENTION! If you are planning on visiting the Eagle Mountain ski Resort, you need to know that you cannot access it from the Junction side of the mountain in the winter. It is a dirt road that is not maintained in the winter. To get to Eagle Point you have to go to Interstate 15 via Utah state road 20 to the south , or you must go to I-15 via I-70 to the north. You can only get to the resort by going through Beaver Utah on the other side of the mountain. One bedroom has closet bunk beds for children which we keep locked for safety purposes.
