Our beautiful, cozy Driftwood Cottage is the perfect accommodation for your next family vacation! Located on scenic Lake Texoma, our property is just over an hour's drive from Dallas. Our home is ideal for families, friends, couples, or a company getaway - it will be sure to wow and impress everyone looking to get away, enjoy time together, and embrace the lake life in a secluded private neighborhood. There are plenty of amenities to enjoy as well - we've got you covered to make sure you have a relaxing and memorable stay with everything you need! We highly recommend you bring your boat or jet skis, as our 2nd driveway offers a 50ft trailer space. If not there's also a marina nearby to rent from! About the space Enjoy our spacious 4-bedroom, 2-full bath/2-half bath home. Guests are sure to love the large, modern bedrooms, bathrooms, and ample closet space. There's even a secret room hidden in one of the main bedrooms behind the blue bookcase! The cottage comfortably sleeps 10-12 people; any extra guests would overwhelm our septic system and your space. For everyone's comfort, please adhere to the maximum permitted guest count. We encourage you to make use of our fully-equipped kitchen. Complimentary cooking basics like spices, cooking spray, and quality cooking necessities are provided to ensure you can cook delicious meals during your visit! Need to do laundry during your stay? The laundry room is fully stocked to keep your clothes clean! There is also a dedicated workspace and high speed wifi for guests who are looking to get work done while they are here. And, of course, there are plenty of games and a 55 inch ROKU TV to keep everyone entertained! Our living room has a wood burning fireplace which guests may use in the Fall and Winter months. Driftwood Cottage is located in a quiet cul-de-sac, surrounded by 300 acres of woods, and nestled next to a private cove at Lake Texoma. The beautiful sandy beach is a quick 3 minute walk from the front door. There are often few people at the beach, however it is shared with other local cottages and other people may be enjoying it as well. Our cottage has beach essentials all ready for you, including towels, an umbrella, a blanket, and snorkeling gear! The Driftwood Cottage delivers on an amazing outdoor entertaining experience! Guests will find a grill and additional seating, great for relaxing on the porch! There is also a fire pit, perfect for making s'mores and telling stories around. Guest access Check-in: Expect a smooth check-in with our smart locking system. Parking: There is plenty of parking for guests as well as a separate driveway to park your boat if you choose to bring it with you. Please do not park in any other location other than our driveways. Other things to note *The nearest town is about a 10-minute drive away; you will find a pharmacy, grocery store, gas station, restaurants, and more here. *If you plan to bring your dogs (limit of 2), we would like to know more about them in advance! While we love cats, in order to reduce allergens, we ask that cats stay home. There is a nominal pet fee. *A rental agreement will be sent once booked and prior to arrival.
