Set above a private garage and surrounded by peaceful woods—often visited by the area’s charming white squirrels—this cozy 1-bedroom, 1-bath getaway is ideal for couples, solo travelers, or small families visiting the area or attending events at the nearby Tryon International Equestrian Center. Inside, you’ll find a bright, open-concept living space designed for both comfort and ease. The fully stocked kitchen makes meals simple, while WiFi, a smart TV with complimentary YouTube TV and Amazon Prime Video, along with games and puzzles, provide plenty of options for relaxing or unwinding after a day of adventure. The bedroom offers a calm, restful atmosphere, and the pullout sofa in the living area allows the home to comfortably accommodate up to four guests. Step outside and soak in the quiet beauty of the setting. Fire up the grill for an outdoor meal or gather around the fire pit for cozy evenings beneath the stars. The home is accessed by lighted stairs leading to the front door, adding both safety and a welcoming touch for evening arrivals. Guests are greeted with fresh flowers, homemade cookies, and a selection of breakfast essentials and snacks to start their stay off right. Outdoor adventure is all around you, with nearby hiking trails, waterfalls, and scenic drives waiting to be explored. Just around the corner, White Oak Mountain Drive offers breathtaking panoramic views that are not to be missed. Whether you’re here to explore the natural beauty of the mountains, attend equestrian events, or simply unwind in a quiet, wooded escape, Relaxing Oaks offers the perfect blend of privacy, comfort, and convenience—just minutes from downtown Columbus and easy interstate access Guest access YouTube Premium, YouTube TV and Amazon Prime are available to use as a complimentary amenity while you stay with us. Outside offers a place for fire pit if the weather allows for that. Bring your hammock and string it up between trees if you wish. We have nature outside the back door! The trampoline in the yard can be used but we are not liable for any accidents. Use at your own risk. Elderly please be aware that you will have to climb a flight of stairs to get to the door of the home. Please stay off the grass as it is steep. We are not liable for any accidental falls. Other things to note PET FEE: We ask that you include your pet/s (2 pets max under 35 lb each) in your reservation and let us know what kind of pets you are bringing. You are responsible for any damages and replacements that may occur during your stay. This includes but is not limited to new carpets, new bedding, repairs to floors and walls, extensive cleaning services and more. Please leash them while outside. If you leave the house during your stay we ask that you take the pet/s with you or kennel them inside the house. They are not allowed free roam while you are gone. Thank you! **Weather Policy:** Please note that we do not offer compensation or refunds for rain, snow, temperature, power outages or thunderstorms. We adhere to our cancellation policy. We highly suggest purchasing travel insurance at time of booking so you are covered. We have complimentary fresh baked cookies waiting for you upon your arrival as well as some breakfast foods, milk and juice. The water from the spigot is well water, not city water. If you prefer, there is also bottled water in the refrigerator. Feel free to help yourself! Be aware that there is a long flight of outside stairs to the entrance of the house. The steps are lit in the dark and there is a fence bordering one side of the steps. Elderly will need to take caution and it is not handicap accessible. We are not liable for any incidents during your stay here. We have a boxer dog on the property. She is behind our main residence and cannot go past the side of the house so she won’t be over in the area of the apartment. She will probably bark when she sees you. Please refrain from petting her and keep your children and pets away from her. Keep in mind that we are located in nature. There will be a possibility that you may encounter stink bugs, beetles, etc. We will make sure any insects are taken care of before your arrival but be aware that you may encounter a few during your stay.
