A small shoe bench sits just outside the front door, and we provide indoor slippers for your comfort. This helps keep the cabin clean, cozy, and welcoming for all guests. This is a tri-level split home. When you enter, you'll go down a few steps into the main open living space. The full kitchen has all the essentials, including an electric kettle, French press with ground coffee, and tea packets for your morning moments. Please note the fridge has a small freezer and there is no dishwasher. The water heats quickly—please take care. The inviting living room features a daybed for lazy afternoon naps and a swing chair overlooking the trees. Enjoy the unique freestanding gas fireplace, curl up with a board game, or explore our record player and personal romantic collection of vinyls sourced from our travels around the world—each one selected with intention and tied to a memory. A sliding door leads to a peaceful deck surrounded by pine and cedar trees—perfect for morning coffee or grilling dinner. Heat lamps are available for chilly evenings. The dining area brings back the charm of sitting at your cool grandma’s house, with a white pedestal table and cantilever velvet and cane chairs—an ideal place to enjoy a shared meal. Head up the stairs from the main entrance and you’ll find a serene loft with a king-sized bed, a leather lounge chair for reading, and a writing desk complete with a vintage typewriter for inspiration. Step out onto the small private deck for fresh mountain air and treetop views. Guest access Guests have access to the whole home. There is a narrow driveway that can fit up to two cars. Please only park in the driveway and do not block our neighbors. There is a sloped hill on the left side of the driveway so take caution when arriving at night. EV Charging There is a 110V Outlet for standard charging. This is located on the tree trunk. There is also a NEMA 14-50 outlet for faster charging on the deck rail. Try to charge your car after 9PM to avoid peak times of 4PM to 9PM. Other things to note 1. There is one camera outside pointed towards the driveway for your safety 2. Fireplace is only available during Fall-Spring seasons 3. There is no dishwasher 4. Please try to charge your electric vehicle after 9pm and do not use the car charger, AC/heater, and washer all at the same time 5. Please use caution when using the stairs outside when it is wet 6. This is a quiet neighborhood, so please keep that in mind when playing music or hanging outside 7. During the winter, a four-wheeled drive car or chains may be necessary to get up to the home 8. Please enter the lower deck from inside the cabin. Do not go to the lower deck from the outside. 9. We highly recommend Trip insurance just in case you have to cancel for any reason. 10. We do not cancel due to weather except under extenuating circumstances outlined by Airbnb. 11. Use a towel to sit inside Sauna 12. Don not leave ladle in the bucket to prevent cracking Wildlife Acknowledgment and Bear Safety Guest understands and acknowledges that the Property is located in a natural setting where wildlife, including bears, may be present. Guest agrees to exercise caution and follow all safety guidelines provided, including properly securing food, trash, and personal belongings. Guest assumes all risk associated with wildlife encounters and agrees that the Owner/Host shall not be held liable for any injury, damage, or loss resulting from wildlife, including but not limited to bears, on or around the Property. Additional rules No shoes inside the house. No unauthorized guests outside of the reservation allowed. Please do not access the lower level deck from the outside. Enter the hot tub from inside the house. This property requires a $250 security deposit hold. It will be collected separately by the property 2 days prior to check in. Guests are required to sign Rental Agreement. ANY dogs brought without permission or that breaks any of these rules will result in a fee and dog/guests may be asked to leave the premises without refund and forfeiture of security deposit.
