A bird watcher’s paradise with two active osprey nests in view of the cottage with many more among the estuaries. Enjoy the sunset over the Saybrook lighthouses, listen to the ospreys calling, watch the tide rise and fall. Studio cottage with fully equipped kitchen, full bath with laundry and comfortable living area. Heat or AC keeps you comfortable, but so do the breezes off the water. Sit back and watch the world go by; launch your boat to kayak along the shoreline or canoe the Back, the Black Hall, and Lieutenant Rivers; bicycle along the coastal roads of southern Connecticut. TV and Internet are not currently available; cell phone service allows connections to the outside world if you need to. Weekly rentals only Memorial Weekend to Labor Day. There is no smoking anywhere on the property.
