Enjoy the small town slow down to begin your Christmas celebration. The fire pit is ready for cool evenings to roast marshmallows under the stars. Book your stay to relax at this romantic spot in nature while staying at " The Mod" at Camp Creek. "The Mod" unit is decorated in a modern, industrial rustic feel which is not your typical barndominum. A Large deck and fire pit area invites you to enjoy dinner or just gazing at the stars. The space "The Mod" is located in the lower rear of the Barndominium overlooking a wonderful private wooded fire pit area with hammock and grilling area. Here you can enjoy the stars while enjoying a fire. On the deck is a restored antique glider that used to reside on my Grandparents porch. The deck also has a wonderful area to dine. Enter through the modern door and you will be immediately wowed by rich colors and wall of interesting collectibles--antique fan, camera, radio and more. A small dining area with an industrial light and leather dining chairs allows you to overlook a garden area and field. You might see a Turkey wandering by during it's season. The full kitchen has unique tile walls, granite countertops, stainless steal appliances, working sink that encompass a modern feel. The separate bedroom is decorated with a moss green headboard that lures you to enjoy a great book. Your bathroom includes the same unique tile, shower, bidet and towel warmer. Our goal was to create a modern, industrial feel within the Barndominium for your special retreat. Guest access The Barndominium houses two rental units--"The Mod" and "The Loft" (each with separate entrances, no common walls and no common exterior amenities). Both rented together would be great for a couples retreat! However each has its own special appeal with privacy. The Barndominium also houses tool, tractors, and other items to maintain land which are off limits to guests. Other things to note The Barndominium is located on a private acreage site. Our personal home is located on the site but is not near the Barndominium. We can be available if needed however we honor your stay and privacy.
