You're a hop & a skip from local transport or you can easily walk to anywhere within the city center. A charming newly remodeled, fully furnished Townhouse in the heart of downtown Portland. Only one block away from public transport & the Light rail system which will bring you in all the way from the airport to our door! Within a short walk from the Willamette River front promenades, Parks, children's playground, Theaters, shops, Restaurants, Cafes & the largest Farmer's Market in the West! The home is equipped with air conditioning / Heating, High speed Internet & Cable T.V. It has a key-less entry. It has a spacious kitchen- because everyone likes to hang- out there, with an eating area & a view of the lush backyard. There is a large formal dining room which seats eight as well as a very comfortable living room. A laundry room equipped with Washer, Dryer, Iron & sink is for your use downstairs. There are 3 bedrooms situated upstairs. One with a King bed, one with a Queen & one with adult sized Bunkbeds. A 4th bedroom with a Queen bed is also on the main floor. There is also a Futon downstairs which converts to a very comfy bed. The beds have top quality, memory-foam mattresses, with pads for a very peaceful night's sleep. We have provided you with the bathroom essentials - soap, shampoo, etc just in case you forgot to bring them & there are lots of soft, fluffy towels. You can grab a quick breakfast across the street at Einstein Bagels or Starbucks & bring it home, or have one cooked for you at a variety of exceptional places which we would be happy to recommend- you can also check-out the Guidebook we have put together. Portland is off the charts for good restaurants, offering locally grown produce on nearly every menu. It's also well known for it's huge variety of food carts in various parts of the city- One group is situated right behind the property! We live next door & work nearby, so we are always at hand to point you in the right direction or help out with any questions at anytime. This property is available year round for vacationers or corporate stay. If you are a larger group than 6 people we can accommodate you in our property next door,( if it's available) called the Downtowner, which is a mirror to this one . You will be able to enter your home with a code I will send you for the duration of your stay to input in the Keypad. I am always available or nearby if you need me to attend to anything concerning the house! We are in a vibrant, ever changing & improving section of the Downtown where the Portland State university has its campus as well as an excellent year round Saturday Farmers market, Portland Art museum, Oregon Historical museum and the Marina on the Willamette River. There are a number of great restaurants, bars & cafes within a 5 min walk. Portland's famous food carts are one street away! If you are not bringing a car the best & least expensive option to get to the house from the Airport is The MAX (light rail system) which brings you all the way from the airport to the House with one simple change. If you prefer a private Shuttle service I would recommend: USA Airport Shuttle . The are car rental options are endless! for just the day or an hour you can rent a Zipcar or car2go or the luxury version "ReachNow". If you do have a car, we can offer you one designated parking spot in front of the property. Everything needed to make a thanksgiving dinner to cocktails to just a smoothie is provided for you in the kitchen. There are Books, movies games & toys for the kids if you decide to stay in & take a break from your activities! There is a pack n play & clean bedding for your toddler or baby. Regrettably "The City of Portland has decided to not allow us to keep our parking spaces therefore we can no longer offer parking on the property. However there are plenty of safe & reasonably priced options for public parking nearby. I would be happy to direct you to them.
