Forest & Feather Lakehouse Pelee Island Waterfront

Ideally located on Pelee Island’s North Bay, Forest & Feather Lakehouse is a magical cottage getaway featuring stunning views of the lake. Situated on nine acres of bird-filled, Carolinian forest, this charming four bedroom cottage is an idyllic island retreat for reconnecting with nature, friends and family. Forest & Feather is within walking distance (~800m) to The Taco Shack, The Filling Station for Ice Cream, Pelee Co-op Grocery Store and the Dog and Goat Restaurant. The space Forest & Feather Lakehouse was built in the early 20th century by a ship's captain who operated the Pelee Island ferry for decades. Set on a beautiful treed lot, the classic, light-filled cottage offers unparalleled lake views. The cottage is a Sears Craftsman kit home built on part of an original subplot created before Pelee's marshes were drained in the late 1800s. The Inside, the living room has two large picture windows for viewing Pelee's sunrises and sunsets, a 42-inch flatscreen TV and plenty of comfortable seating. Fibre Optic High Speed Internet/WIFI is available throughout the home. There are two spacious bedrooms upstairs with large windows. (East room has 2 double beds, South room has 1 queen). One main floor bedroom (queen bed) features a lake view, and the other(queen bed) a view of the yard and forest. ***Guests must bring sheets/pillow cases and towels. Pillows, blankets and comforters are provided*** IMPORTANT: Once you have made your reservation, please book your ferry ride with Pelee Island Transportation services as soon as possible. The terminal usually opens for reservations in late February. You cannot travel to Pelee Island on the ferry without a reservation for your vehicle and guests.
