With the longest certified hiking trails—the Pfälzer Weinsteig and the Pfälzer Waldpfad—Schweigen-Rechtenbach is also an attractive destination for hikers. It features a varied play of colors from rose blossoms, perennials, and grasses, hydrangeas, lavender, and other small shrubs. Bees, bumblebees, and all kinds of insects bustle among the old sandstone blocks of the large garden wall.
