Venice Flower Cottage: Ideal WFH + dry sauna

Welcome to the Flower Cottage Venice - your very own whimsical, lush, and incredibly (!) walkable beachside hideaway. Our cottage (which is located in a very private space in our large, fenced backyard) features everything you need for an extended stay, including your own private entrance/parking, yard, fire pit, BBQ, fastest wifi, 4K monitors, unlimited usage of the new swedish dry sauna and more. The cottage is a short walk to the beach, Whole Foods, Rose Ave, Abbot Kinney and beyond. The space The Flower Cottage is a beautifully restored California Craftsman that sits in a private space in the very back of our property. Your dreamy backyard is complete with a BBQ, fire pit, lounge furniture, fresh passionfruit, fragrant lavender, and more. You also have an electric gate to park a large car in for safe keeping (+ access to a 110v if you have an EV!) Additionally, we have a newly installed swedish dry sauna that is shared with the main house... use as much as you may like! We hope you'll have special evenings using the grill, unwinding by the fire pit, and enjoying the twinkle lights. If you have dogs, this yard is a dog paradise. We welcome all fury friends! Inside, you'll find two light-filled rooms with the coziest mattresses + ample pillows. Each room is outfitted with a desk and 4K monitor so you can work remotely with ease. The rooms also have their own closets and chest of drawers. The living area features a Samsung frame TV (so you can keep pretty art on the wall while not in use), and access to all streaming services. The kitchen features a large fridge/freezer, toaster oven, all serving ware for the best outdoor BBQ party, and beyond. We do not have a traditional stove, however, we have an amazing electric induction burner that enables the same stove-top cooking experience. Coffee features include a Chemex, grinder, filter and scale for the perfect pour over, as well as a regular coffee machine. Regarding laundry, we have a small in-unit combo washer/dryer in the back bedroom closet. Please note, it does take a while to wash/dry, so we also provide hangers in the event you'd like to hang dry your clothes. There's a great laundry service called OrangeBag that we also recommend to guests -- super seamless pick up/drop off laundry service in the area! The bathroom has been completely renovated with gorgeous new marble tile. We'll leave fresh eucalyptus hanging for you in the shower. Guest access We live in the front house on the property. When you arrive, we'll be here to greet you and show you to the bungalow. You have your own private entrance (alley). Other things to note Please note that Venice is quite urban, so you will experience some noise, including airport noise as we're close to Santa Monica airport.
