Welcome to The Green Flamingo, a cute cottage less than 5 miles from both lively Clearwater Beach and laid-back Indian Rocks Beach. You'll feel the vacation vibes from the moment you walk into this compact home with its mix of contemporary and vintage furniture and tropical, boho decor. Located less than 100m from the Pinellas Trail, a pedestrian and cycle path that runs the length of the county with a fenced-in yard perfect for your four-legged friend - dogs welcome at The Green Flamingo! The space The Green Flamingo is a dog-friendly house with all the comforts of home including your own in-unit washer and dryer, a Roku TV in the cosy living-dining room, a full-sized kitchen with French door refrigerator, microwave, oven and four-ring stove top. A filter coffee machine, electric kettle and all the flatware and cutlery you will need for your stay are here as well. There are 3 bedrooms which can sleep up to 6 people in a queen bed, full bed and daybed with pull-out trundle bed. Wi-fi throughout the property and a fold-down desk is located in the 3rd room, so it may be used as an office. The bathroom offers a walk-in shower and toilet with bidet. Located in the middle of Pinellas County means that as well as the beach, you’re within easy driving distance of all the highlights of the Tampa Bay area including Dunedin with its many craft breweries with dog-friendly patios, Tarpon Springs with its historic sponge docks and authentic Greek restaurants or St Petersburg with attractions such as the Dali Museum (one of our personal favorites). The Green Flamingo is located 13 minutes drive to Clearwater Beach, 16 minutes to Dunedin, 25 minutes to downtown St Petersburg, 45 minutes to Tampa Airport. (All times approximate, subject to traffic conditions). Guest access You will be provided with a unique access code upon booking for keyless entry. Parking available in private driveway for up to 2 cars. Other things to note Dogs are very welcome, subject to preapproval from us - due to our liability coverage we are unable to accept dogs over 50 lbs or aggressive breeds. Please let us know when booking if you will be bringing your dog(s), how many, providing the breed(s) and weight. We also ask that you abide by our rules related to dogs. Note that the fully-fenced backyard is only accessible only through the side gate - the only door to the house is the front door, there is NO back door into the yard.
