This detached 420 sf apartment is perfect for 1-2 guests. Light-filled studio (from two solar tubes) on over 1/3 acre of flowers and fruit trees, three blocks from downtown, and craft foods and wine. Very close and easy access from the highway. Jacksonville is 6 miles, and the Ashland plaza is 17 miles. The space The Guesthouse is a modern studio and attached to a seldom-used garage, yet detached from the main Farmhouse. Parking is located within steps of the Guesthouse entrance. The Guesthouse can accommodate two adults with one queen bed. The bed is very comfortable and has received many positive reviews. The Guesthouse has a true-HEPA air filter for your comfort and an extra space heater. It does remain very comfortable all year with the windows open or using the heater or air conditioner, both work very well. There is a two-person loveseat and mini-ottoman = so cute! You can work on your laptop comfortably or use the provided chairs and tables. There is a small clock and Bluetooth speaker to provide ample sound from your device. There is no television or monitor, though. The two solar tubes bring lots of additional light into the bathroom and back yoga space when it is light out. They are often confused with lights. Consider an eye mask for sleeping late. We provide snack foods, such as cliff bars and organic coffee beans. There is an electric grinder and several coffee-making methods, most commonly a French press or pour-over. Sweeteners and a selection of caffeine and herbal teas are provided, too. There is all-natural soap, shampoo, and conditioner available. The washing machine detergent is also eco-friendly. The guesthouse is close to many amenities: I5 Exit less than 1 mile. If you also have access to the fenced yard of the main Farmhouse. We do have one small dog that has his own dog door and can come in and out as he wishes. If you would like, we can close the dog door and keep him inside. On occasion, we have friends that visit the main house with their own dogs, so a heads-up is highly recommended before adding more mutts to the mix! We are happy to accommodate whatever best suits your needs, especially by giving you full access to the yard without other dogs.
