Description
We warmly welcome you to our modern See.Perle at the most beautiful point on Lake Wörthersee with lake views! With only 50 m as the crow flies to the lake, you will find the west-facing accommodation with a really large panoramic window & access to the terrace, private entrance & bathroom. In an idyllic panoramic location, the day can be started wonderfully & stylishly with a café or you can end the day in the kitschy pink evening sun hours with a glass of wine. The space From the See.Perle you look west over a large meadow on the lake towards Pörtschach. The beautiful view also includes the view of the Pyramidenkogel and the Dobratsch. The Parkhotel am Landspitz in Pörtschach organizes regular fireworks during the summer, which you can watch from the terrace. The building is a single-family house. Who else lives in it? We, a family of four with two toddlers plus two cats. With us, it is never boring and due to children at the moment also a little turbulent😉. So you may hear our toddlers squealing ☺. Through your own entrance, you are of course completely independent of us – you can, so you do not have to run across the way. Our property can be reached through a cul-de-sac. The property itself is very close to the lake and at the same time relatively quiet. Klagenfurter Straße and the train can be heard a little now and then, but in our opinion it is completely bearable. In a spacious outdoor entrance area you reach the two front doors. Directly from your own front door you can reach the 1-room accommodation with a bright, approx. 25 sqm living room and really huge panoramic window as well as real wood parquet. Here you can really relax on a 1.80 m x 2 m large and beautifully soft spring mattress or put your legs up on a cozy couch with pillows. If you wish, you can also enjoy your coffee or tea on the west side, separated part of the terrace, which connects directly from the See.Perle with its own terrace door. Here you will find two chairs and a small storage space for books or drinks. The eye-catcher can still be two small, black, shy cats that sometimes cross your terrace ☺. In the evenings, nice lighting elements in the room support a feel-good lounge atmosphere, which you can additionally support acoustically with our music box. If you are a wine lover, you will find appropriate glasses. The bathroom is directly attached to the room. It impresses with its clean design and a very large mirror. Of course, we provide coffee and tea. A coffee machine, coffee capsules, tea bags, a kettle, a mini fridge, something to drink, cups, wine and water glasses plus a sweet little something can all be found in the room. Of course, we also provide the bed linen, towels, etc. You can find a little reading material about the surroundings etc. in a small reading basket in the room. Guest access Parking is available on our property. We will gladly write to you before your arrival where it is best to park. Other things to note From our See.Perle 1219 you can make many beautiful excursions on foot. Option 1: For all bathing mermaids! Since we are at the most beautiful point of Lake Wörthersee, there are two free beaches 7 minutes away on foot. In the guest handbook in the room you will find the exact locations. If you prefer to visit a beach, we can recommend both the very beautiful Parkbad in Krumpendorf and the spectacular Promenadenbad on the headland in Pörtschach. Option 2: You can, for example, go to our "local mountain", the Pirkerkogel, from which you have an even more fantastic view over Lake Wörthersee from the top. If that's not enough, you can walk from here through the forest to our neighboring village of Krumpendorf. In the See.gast.haus you can indulge your gourmet palate according to the motto "modern Austrian cuisine meets young hospitality." From here you can walk back directly on the lake on a quiet street that merges into a bicycle and pedestrian path. Option 3: You walk from our doorstep in the other direction to Pörtschach. For example, you can walk along one of the quiet, sloping streets that run parallel to the lake. In Pörtschach itself you will find the main house of the well-known and traditional Carinthian bakery Wienerroither, where you can have a fantastic breakfast. From here you can walk along the beautiful headland of Pörtschach and relax right on the lake. During the season, beach life is open, where you can enjoy an Aperol, ice cream or another meal right on the lake. On the main street in Pörtschach itself there are even smaller shops for clothes or souvenirs. You can then go back home next to the lake. Option 4: For all bicycle enthusiasts! From our place, the Wörthersee can be circled wonderfully. With a total of 44 km and a continuously marked cycle path, it is always worth a trip. At stops we recommend Velden with the wide promenade and a lot of hustle and bustle (a casino can also be found), the church Maria Wörth as well as the lake shore near Klagenfurt, where you will find a large beach and the Lido for eating and drinking. Option 5: Ship ahoy! You can also explore Lake Wörthersee with the Wörthersee cruise. The whole circumnavigation takes 3 hours, with the liner making various stops. Our suggestion is: boarding at the Peter-Alexander-Steg at Landspitz Pörtschach, exit and stopover in Velden. You can then aim for the return trip whenever it suits you and you have experienced enough in Velden. The exact times can be found on the Internet. Option 6: Dining out. Within walking distance of us is the Magnolia, the Orathai and the Labsalerie. We have already recommended the See.gast.haus to you. In Pörtschach, as I said, there is the beach life and the Ranas. We can also recommend the pizzeria Ciaociao and Little Italy. Please note the seasonal opening hours for some restaurants. On excursions to the surrounding area, we can (depending on the season) recommend a hike or a ski tour in the nearby Carinthian mountain worlds or an excursion to the many beautiful lakes in Carinthia (Wörthersee Pörtschach/Velden/Maria Wörth, Forstsee, Millstättersee, Ossiachersee, Weissensee and and and...). In the old town of Klagenfurt, you can admire the small historic town or simply watch the colorful hustle and bustle in a café in the old square. In just 30 minutes you can reach the Italian border, where you can shop and eat pizza in Tarvis and admire the fantastic Friulian landscape. The Taggenbrunner winery is also worth a day trip with a spectacular view and ambience. In the TrippelGut winery you can enjoy not only the delicious wines but also a really good meal in a beautiful panoramic ambience. What else is interesting? Take a look at our travel guide, where we have put together further recommendations for cafés, restaurants, excursions, hikes, bike tours, breakfast and more :) An additional guest handbook is available for you at the property. For everything else and any other questions that may arise – we are happy to help and look forward to seeing you soon!
