The apartment is fully equipped and furnished to a high standard. Dortmund Central Station and the pedestrian zone can be reached in a few minutes on foot or by streetcar. Free parking is available and check-in is stress-free at any time. The space Your apartment is located on the second floor of a newly renovated old building. During the recent renovation, all the historical details were preserved and brought back to life. The high ceilings and large windows together with the modern furnishings create an inviting atmosphere that will make you feel right at home. Your apartment has been renovated to the highest standards of comfort and offers underfloor heating throughout. An individual control system allows you to set each room to your preferred temperature. The well-equipped eat-in kitchen is ideal for self-catering and has a large dining table in a generously proportioned bay window, which creates a bright and inviting atmosphere. To make cooking a little easier, you will find a supply of salt and pepper for cooking in the kitchen as well as a variety of useful appliances such as a microwave, a toaster, a kettle and a Nespresso capsule machine. You will also find a small selection of suitable capsules for the Nespresso machine in the apartment. The spacious living room has a large sofa bed that can not only accommodate two more people, but also invites you to relax after a long day. The living room is also equipped with a large UHD smart TV, which offers free access to popular streaming services such as Netflix or Zattoo (TV program) during your stay. Free WiFi with a stable speed is also available. The entire apartment has been furnished with high-quality and individual pieces by a regional artist, creating a cozy atmosphere. The spacious bedroom offers plenty of room to relax after a long day and has a large double bed with a box-spring mattress for a special sleeping experience. Next to the bed are modern bedside tables with dimmable bedside lamps. A closet and a luggage bench offer plenty of storage space for your personal belongings. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower with a rain shower. A large illuminated LED mirror and a hairdryer are also provided, as well as sufficient towels and bath mats for your entire stay. Guest access Check-in takes place via a keyless entry system. Access to the apartment is gained by entering a code at your apartment door. I will send you this code by AirBnB message on the day of arrival. I will also send you a brief explanation of our system. This gives you the flexibility to come and go without having to rely on a key. Other things to note As already mentioned, the apartment is located in a newly renovated old building in Dortmund's Haven City. From here, you can reach Dortmund city center or the main train station in just 10 minutes on foot. Alternatively, you can also use the nearby streetcar. There are a variety of supermarkets, restaurants and even a pharmacy within walking distance. Parking is either free directly in front of the apartment on the street or at a nearby P&R parking lot for a fee. After a long day, you can relax in the apartment or explore Dortmund's nightlife. Dortmund offers a variety of charming Ruhr-style bars and restaurants. One of my personal recommendations is the beach bar “Herr Walter”, which is located directly on the harbor.
