Attractive & Comfortable Upscale Condo Close to Everything
The space This bright and modern two bedroom condo makes a perfect corporate retreat or rental, coupling all the amenities of a business-class hotel with far more space for family members and a real sense of personality. With a full kitchen, wood-burning fireplace, and wireless Internet, this spacious condo will help you feel right at home in the Portland area, and you can even take advantage of the city's excellent public transportation to reach the downtown business district. The condo's living area is open and bright, with comfortable seating arranged before a wood fireplace (Presto logs only, please) and flatscreen cable TV. Take advantage of the wireless Internet to catch up on email even as you sit by the crackling fire, or step out onto the sun-dappled balcony and enjoy the fresh air on warmer days. The full kitchen is generously sized and stocked with everything you'll need to prepare meals, including a dishwasher for easy clean up. There's even a coffee grinder provided, so you can brew a fresh cup of that pound of Stumptown beans you picked up downtown. Enjoy your home-cooked meals at the four person dining table, surrounded by hand-selected art. The condo has two spacious bedrooms and two full baths. The master suite has a luxurious king bed, private bath, and walk-in closet, while the second has a queen bed and easy access to a bath down the hall. The condo also includes a futon and plenty of linens for extra guests, bringing the total sleeping accommodations to six. A washer and dryer makes longer stays much more pleasant. The condo is located on the third floor of an upscale complex near the Tualatin Country Club, offering a pleasant, slower-paced alternative to the expensive hotels of downtown Portland or the typical highway-side corporate hotels. Enjoy close proximity to some excellent coffee shops and eateries in the immediate area (the local Hawaiian, teriyaki, and Thai spots are especially good). Stroll from your front door to the lush community park nearby, where a bridge crossing the Tualatin River connects to a network of beautiful hiking and biking trails. Downtown Portland is less than 15 miles away, providing an easy 20 minute commute by car. Alternately, the immaculate new WES Commuter Rail offers service into the city during rush hours Monday - Friday. When you're done working, there is plenty to keep you occupied: you are on the cusp of the famous Willamette Valley wine region to the south, less than two hours to the snowy peak of Mount Hood or the sandy beaches of the Oregon Coast, and only 45 minutes to the stunning "waterfall alley" in the Columbia River Gorge. And, of course, the Portland area itself can keep you entertained for days with its microbrews, farmers markets, bookstores, parks, and highly acclaimed restaurants.
