Entire 1400 square foot, 2 bedroom house has been beautifully updated and features an open floor plan with a cavernous living, kitchen, and dining area. All appliances are new, intuitive to operate, and quiet. Furniture is mostly brand new and was purchased with the intention of providing a clean, comfortable, high end Airbnb experience. I have stayed in almost 20 Airbnb's over 5 years and wanted this cottage to represent and offer what I have loved most about my best experiences. The sectional sofa in the living room opens into a queen size sleeper that is easy to setup and comfortable. All bedding is conveniently located in a storage area under the chaise portion of the sectional. Living and both bedrooms have ceiling fans which help a lot on warmer days Especially with newly installed AC in the main room the cottage stays comfortable. Luxury Haven also features energy efficient windows and shade from multiple nestling trees. For those cooler days, bedrooms have plush, cozy carpeting, and the portable heaters are small but mighty! Beds, bedding, and linens are all Airbnb recommended products and boy are they comfy! I wish my bed at home was this nice! The large, master bathroom has a large, great shower and double sinks. Second full bath is accessible from 2nd bedroom and from laundry room and has a shower over tub for those who prefer a soak and for children. Hair dryers are available in both bathrooms. Whole house is available as a guest. There are a few owner items stashed in clearly marked plastic bins in the master closet and a couple of bins in the lower cabinet in the kitchen. Your luxury cottage is about a 5 minute drive from the the Sly Park Recreation Area featuring Jenkinson Lake, and about a 20 minute tree lined drive south of Hwy 50. The neighborhood is residential, quiet, and shady. Off street, gravel parking is available on the Bucktail side of the cottage where entry is available up the stairway; or on the Kokanee Lane side in the cottages carport and entering through the laundry room. We are on a septic tank so please, septic safe chemical, soap, and detergents only and flush only human waste and toilet paper! WINTER WARNING! We are at the 4200ft elevation and can get snow. You may need to clear the driveway of snow using supplied shovels. The main road that gets plowed, but at times, the snow berm might need to be removed to access the carport. Be prepared with warm clothing, gloves, snow chains &/or have a 4WD. At times, the electricity may be interrupted in severe weather due to downed trees. Please also realize, since we are in a highly wooded area, the electric company, PG&E, may find it necessary to turn off the power in the summer for fire safety concerns.
