Shepherds Spring Maisonette

Shepherds Spring Maisonette is located in the delightful grounds of the 18th Century East Mills Manor, situated between the historic medieval town of Fordingbridge and the village of Godshill, 5 minutes drive from the New Forest National Park. It has been tastefully converted to provide comfortable, stylish, high standard accommodation with self-catering facilities offering a beautiful retreat in a peaceful location. The space The Maisonette is a spacious flat that is located 20m from the gated complex. The beautiful upstairs flat, sleeps 6 across 1 double bedroom, 1 twin room, and 1 bunk bedroom, perfect for kids, with 1 bathroom and 1 shower room. It is the perfect space for a family, as it includes a large sitting room area and dining room, and a large fully kitted-out kitchen. As you open the front door there is a tiled entrance, with storage for all your outdoor shoes, coats, and gear and a staircase that leads you to the flat. To the left of the stairs leads to the large kitchen & open plan dining/living room which includes a dining table for 6 people, lounge area with 2 sofas, 1 being a 2 seater reclining sofa, flat-screen TV & DVD player. The kitchen area has a gas hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer, and fridge-freezer. To the right of the stairs is a long hallway leading to 3 bedrooms, the main bathroom with bath, over-bath shower, basin, WC & shaver point, and also a separate shower room with shower cubical, basin, and WC. Bedroom 1 with a large double bed, Bedroom 2 with twin single beds, and Bedroom 3 with single bunk beds. The landing has storage cupboards with hanging rails, hoover, iron, ironing board & airer. A welcome gift, free tea, and coffee, as well as free WIFI, heating, gas, linen, and towels, are provided. All our properties are family-friendly and have a selection of board games, as well as an option on booking for high chairs, cots, and stair gates. (Due to COVID-19 safety measures, please note the shared garden will be closed to all other properties but the Maisonette, you will have exclusive use. Access to the shared storage area is also closed.) Guest access The Maisonette has access to a beautiful enclosed garden that contains BBQs and Picnic tables, so you can enjoy outdoor dining whilst looking onto a beautiful meadow and the River Avon. Please note this is 20m from the entrance of the apartment. It is the ideal location for nature lovers, runners, cyclists, horse riders, and fisherman, with access to 2.5km of the private fishing swims on River Avon, stable and grass livery for horses and secure storage for bicycles and fishing gear are available upon request. Ample off-road parking is available. Other things to note Your stay includes Bed linen, electricity, gas central heating, and WiFi. If you need a travel cot (please bring your own bedding/linen) high chair and stair gate please select this option when booking. Towels are included. Please bring your own beach towels. This a non-smoking property. We are a dog-friendly property, we welcome up to 2 dogs, for a dog fee of £30.00 per dog. Please note, to charge electric vehicles, permission needs to be sought from the owners, and fees will apply.
