Fish, swim and launch the kayaks from shore. I like to launch the kayaks from the access because it is a lot calmer to roam around versus being around a bunch of watercraft. Second one is at the corner of Downing and Kress off of Kress there is a picnic table with an access for swimming, these are Michigan Lakes so please bring your “Water Shoes”. There is fishing equipment in the sun room for your use. There are three (depending on sizes of vehicles) parking space’s available in front of the house. Trash pick up is early Thursday morning, please put your trash out Wednesday evening. I share trash and recycling pick up with my neighbor Pam across the street at 4765 Downing Drive. Please put your trash and recyclables in the big green bins prior to checking out. Other things to note The cottage is on Strawberry Lake, frontage on a very quiet cove. Private dock (1 boat slip) in between the trees down by the lake. Includes a lakefront park. Water access areas to put the kayaks in and also swim on a sandy bottom. I provide 2 (1) person kayaks, and 1 (2) person kayak and (4) adult life vests. You can rent canoes, paddle boards and boats for the day at Wonderland West Marina, wonderlandwestmarinadotcom. There is “NO” washer, dryer, dishwasher or garbage disposal. Locked closet in the cottage and locked shed on the property for Host use only.
