Room for Boat/RV parking! The space Beautifully remodeled one-level, ranch home centrally located in South Venice, west of Highway 41 with easy access to all things Venice and nearby beaches. Access the best beaches in Sarasota County with a short drive to Siesta Key(35min), Boca Grande(40min), Caspersen Beach(10min), Venice Beach(8min), Manasota Beach (11min), etc... This neighborhood is so special! It's quiet & everyone is beyond friendly, as you'll find in all of Florida's Gulf Coast. You are just a few blocks away from the Venetian Intercostal Waterway, which has a park and bike path running the entire distance. The concrete paths lining the banks of the waterway can take you to Shamrock Park or as far North as Sarasota. Using the provided bikes, enjoy morning rides to the Venice farmers market and art fairs or take an evening jaunt to Venice Beach or the pier at Sharky's to catch the gorgeous sunset. There's a dog beach not too far at Caspersen Beach and of course the Public Beach on the Island of Venice- 8 min drive & easily bikeable along the path. Another spot we love if you have kids is the splash pad on Venice Island. Located within a short walk or bike ride, you’ll also find the local Friendship Center for seniors which always provides a full schedule of events! Adventure seekers, you’re off to a great start with our kayaks and bikes. You will need an SUV to haul them to the Peace River, Robert’s or Dona Bay or wherever you are wanting to explore. However, if you prefer to stay home, this is the perfect house to nest in too! This property is designed to deliver comfort, adventure, and functionality…in style! Drive through the canopy roads of South Venice to your private home where you can spread out from the crowds, with beautiful trees, vegetation and magical bird life throughout the surroundings of the house. South Venice is a protected bird-viewing neighborhood that won’t disappoint! There is a great deal of parking available on the premise. You have a Fifth wheel or motor home that you are taking a break from?... it will likely fit; we park our 36’ camper on the side driveway and there is plenty of clearance in the front and back of it when parked, although it would also fit behind the large gate if you prefer it fenced. Arrive at the house with a welcoming entryway and small patio for morning coffee. Upon entering, you’ll find a gourmet complete with all the necessary appliances, updated, modern finishes and an eat-in kitchen complete this bright space. From the kitchen you’ll have easy access to the large dining room with additional kitchenette and refrigerator to keep all your summer beverages cold. This space really stimulates fun interaction with a retro-record player, room for games and lots of natural light. Next, enter the main living space, which is furnished with a comfortable couch, two funky chairs and a cozy chaise lounge, great for those afternoon snoozes. This room is equipped with a smart tv, expansive windows and a beautiful monkeypod coffee table. The bedrooms are separated by the living and dining rooms, offering much privacy and division between the sleeping spaces. The primary bedroom is located just off the family room. Here you will find an expansive bedroom with a comfy, king bed, walnut dresser, smart TV, massive mirror, and daybed which is located under a large window, perfect for curling up with a book or your laptop. Also, in this bedroom you’ll have access to an expansive, walk-in closet and spa-like bathroom finished with a rain shower head as well as an adjustable, handheld shower head. To top it off, each bathroom in the house is equipped with a bidet attachment. Across the house, through the dining room you’ll find a hall closet (where you’ll find all linens, towels, and more storage) as well as another spa-like bathroom with similar finishes as well as the secondary bedroom. This bedroom includes another walk-in closet and standing mirror and is finished with one full-sized bed and one queen-sized bed. Both have exceptional bedding and are decorated in a coastal Florida style. Back towards the kitchen you’ll pass through a doorway that leads to the finished garage. This is basically another living room where we enjoy working out as it is climate controlled with its own heating/AC unit. In the immaculate garage you will find another full bathroom, the new, stackable, clothes washer and dryer with lots of cabinets for extra storage and supplies as well as a utility sink. When it rains, utilize the garage as an additional entertainment and living space; enjoy the tiki toss game mounted on the wall, practice yoga or simply sit with the door open to enjoy the fresh-rain smells. Finally, arrive at the glorious, backyard and patio with a few sitting areas, fire pit and grill. The lot behind our backyard acts like a mysterious jungle with several different birds so you can practice your best birdcalls while lounging on the patio. There is a beautiful dining set with umbrella that easily accommodates six for meals or games. Your pups will love to romp around the large, fenced yard and everyone can gather around the fire pit to spend the evening swapping stories by the campfire. We have turned this place into our SW Florida dream adventure house. It was a pleasure to design and create this magical spot! We love it here and we hope you will too :) Guest access You’ll have access to the entire property, including all private facilities, as well as all of our recreational equipment (kayaks, bicycles, tricycle, snorkel gear, boogie boards, shark tooth sifters, etc.). Many of our guests prefer to use our two comfort bikes and trike to get to and fro the beach; we’ve even created maps to show our favorite biking destinations. Other things to note Did you know that Caspersen Beach is one of the best shark tooth hunting locations in the world, no exaggeration! We have supplies to get you started and you’ll see where we have collected enough to create the map of Florida which is proudly hanging in the living room. Take the tricycle with the supplies in tow and be at Caspersen Beach in 15 minutes time. This is one of our FAVORITE activities!
