Skylark is one of 8 stone holiday cottages at Moor and Sea Holidays near Lynmouth with lovely south-facing views over Exmoor. Beautifully refurbished with airy open plan living space and picture windows overlooking the gardens and views beyond. There is a private terrace perfect for alfresco dining or stargazing. Within easy reach of spectacular coastline, beautiful award-winning beaches and stunning moor and coastal walks, the perfect base from which to explore this part of the world. The space Moor and Sea Holidays. Self Catering Cottages Skylark ( number 1 on the plan) has its own private outside dining area with screening and lovely planting. Beautifully refurbished to suit families, couples, or holidays with friends. Skylark has an airy open-plan living area leading onto the private dining terrace and gardens. The lovely south-facing terrace has views over the gardens and moor, morning coffee as the sun rises, and star gazing as the night draws in under Exmoor's dark skies. There is a fully equipped kitchen, a stylish and cosy living room, and a dining area designed to create both a place to sit and play games or read as well as a place to eat. The living area has a double sofa bed for extra guests, allowing up to 4 people to stay. A spacious double bedroom provides a calm and peaceful sanctuary with French linen or high quality cotton bedding. Skylark has a walk-in shower. Skylark is one of our dog friendly cottages, we supply dog bowls and a blanket and eco-friendly dog bags. We have super fast fibre optic broadband throughout all of our accommodation. The newly landscaped gardens have been designed and planted to encourage wildlife, including wildflower meadow planting and fruit trees for the bees and birds. As well as each cottage having its own south-facing private terrace, there are lovely gardens and 11 acres of beautiful fields for our guests to use at Moor and Sea. Throughout our build, we have been mindful of using environmentally friendly materials and design. From natural or recycled insulation and building materials, eco-friendly cleaning products and consumables to new energy-efficient appliances throughout. We have now also installed solar panels which supply over half of our electricity. We have two Rolec EV charging points that can be used with the Monta app. This is easily downloadable onto your phone. There is a utility room for our guests with a lending library of books and indoor and outdoor games. We also have a light and airy art room for our guests to enjoy. (sometimes not available during the winter months please ask on booking) Skylark is a wonderful place for you to recharge and enjoy the wonderful North Devon and all it has to offer, from award-winning beaches to stunning coastland and moorland walks and so much more. We are on hand with local information and recommendations to help you make the most of your time here. Guest access Guests have access to our two fields and gardens at Moor and Sea Holidays There is a Utility Room and an Art Room for guests to use Other things to note Our cottages are all easily accessible. Please note that if only two people are staying and you wish to use the sofa bed and bedding there is an extra charge of £25 per stay, please contact us to let us know so we can prepare for you, this can be paid for directly during your stay. We automatically charge extra for 3 or 4 people staying. We have a guest laundry room with a lending library of books and indoor and outdoor games. There is an art room freely available for the use of our guests from May until September. From September until May it is open most of the time subject to availability. We have 2 EV chargers There are indoor and outdoor games to borrow and two lovely fields in which to play or walk with a large fire pit for our guests to use on request.The fields are also perfect for a picnic or early morning yoga.
