Urban Nest - A Home in the City

Urban Nest is a stylish one bedroom apartment located on the first floorof a beautiful Victorian Style building. This is a remodeled apartment full of natural light and spacious areas. It is located on a residential street, right on the heart of Ponta Delgada, where you can still park your car for free (day and night) while enjoying easy walking access to everywhere in the city. The space Hi, i'm Monique and together with my team we host guests at the Urban Nest and at Villa Várzea (if you are also looking for accommodation near Sete Cidades check it out). The Urban Nest is located on the 1st floor of a beautiful Victorian style building (only 1 flight of stairs up, but no lift). Once you open the door to your Nest, you have it all for yourself: an open space with a kitchen, a dining area, a living room and a work space with a balcony.  There is a sofa in the living room and LCD TV (with international channels); On one side of the apartment a bathroom with a shower;  on the other side a bedroom with double bed (160cm width ; 195cm length) and an air condition unit which keeps it cool in Summer and comfy and warm in Winter. The sofa in the living room can be converted into a single bed for a third guest (please choose 3 guests when booking, so the rate reflects the occupancy). In case you are only 2 guests, but would prefer to have separate sleeping arrangements., we can also convert the sofa into a bed for an extra fee of 30€ per stay. The sofa is not converted into a bed by default, so please always advise in advance. Appliances available in the kitchen: fridge with freezer compartment, electric oven and cooktop, toaster, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine (we provide coffee capsules, sugar and tea for your first uses). Despite being downtown, and unlike most of the streets with shops and bars in them, you can still enjoy the tranquillity at the end of the day, as this is a residential only street. In the same building there are two other apartments. Check-in : Check-in is from 4PM Check-in from 2PM has an extra fee of 20€ Check-in before 2PM is subject to availability and as an extra fee of 40€ Please advise if you would like to include an early check-in to your booking, so we are able to reinforce the cleaning team. Some other useful information Breakfast: You can start your morning with a coffee, at one of the many coffee shops downtown. Or you can have your breakfast or buy your fresh bread daily at the bakery "Pão do Rei" up the street. Groceries: There is a grocery shop "Frutaria Miguel Estrela" up the street and the Farmers Market is an easy stroll down the street. All of the big supermarkets and Shopping Center "Parque Atlântico" are within a 5 minute drive. Dinner: You are at a 2 minute walk from great takeaways like "Pizzeria Estrela da Noite" and the barbecue "Xurrex". Glovo is also available. All restaurants downtown Ponta Delgada are reachable by foot, no need to drive. Laundry: Self service laundry "Lavanderia da Rua" is at a 5 minute walk. Parking: Parking is public and free on the street, and streets around. Expect it to be more or less crowded depending on the time of the day, as it happens in any city. When you park please make sure you don´t block garages or house entrances. There is a Go Rent-a-car just across the street. Registration Details 3042
