Edens Garden Cottage on the Pacific

A 3 bedroom single family home on a quiet dead-end street in a rural coastal village, directly on the beach with our own beach access and incredible views of the Pacific Ocean and Netarts Bay, from Cape Lookout to the south, to Cape Meares north. See House Rules for Details. Oceanfront single-family house located at the mouth of Netarts Bay and Hodgdon Creek, near Oceanside and Tillamook, Oregon. The cottage overlooks Netarts Bay, the Oregon Islands Wildlife Refuge and the Pacific Ocean. Eden's Garden is two stories, has three bedrooms and sleeps eight comfortably. Its on a bluff over the beach - with lots of windows and spectacular views. You can walk from the cottage directly to the ocean beach on our private path, or lounge on our deck, which overlooks the Pacific. The cottage features a full kitchen, including a cook-top range, a microwave, a toaster oven, silverware, dishware, pots and pans, a coffee maker, a French Press, a coffee grinder, oven, dishwasher, washer and dryer and a barbecue. We provide all towels and linens. There is a TV and DVD player. There is electric heat. Eden's Garden has three queen-size beds in separate bedrooms, plus a queen-size fold-out couch in the living room. All bedrooms have ocean views. Sleeping pads can also be made available for your use upon request. The cottage comfortably sleeps eight, and groups of up to 12 people will work in many cases. Larger groups can rent the Blue Rose Cottage next door and spread out between the 2 houses. The Blue Rose is also listed here. The area features some excellent restaurants, lots of wildlife, state parks, and many other different types of activities. Seals nest on sandbars offshore from the cottages, Great Blue Heron fish in the waters off our beach, Pelicans sail in the sky, and in the summer wild roses and lilies bloom in the yard. Sometimes you'll see a bald eagle or deer or elk in the area. The area is known for Dungeness crabbing, fresh clams and oysters, fishing and whale watching, and is part of the beautiful Three Capes Scenic Route. Netarts is a quiet, non-touristy village of a few hundred people. It's one of the closest beaches to Portland, Oregon (75 miles, or a 90 minute drive). There is a small grocery store a short walk from the cottage. There are several great restaurants within 2 miles of the cottage. Major services and supermarkets are available eight miles away in Tillamook. Upon confirmation of your stay, you will receive our free 15 page area guide, which features the best area restaurants, scenic drives, information about crabbing, clamming and fishing - as well as many other area attractions. Other things to note LICENSING Tillamook County STR#851-10-358 PET FEES AirBnB has a category of charge related to pet fees, but as a matter of policy does not charge any pet fees when you initially reserve. Instead, for those owners that charge wear & tear related pet fees, you will be contacted about Pet Fee payment. We are one of those owners. Our pet fees are $19 for your first pet, for each night you booked. So if you booked 2 nights for one dog ;you would pay $38 plus tax. 5 nights would be $95 plus tax. If you are bringing 2 pets, you'll pay $30 addition for the 2nd pet. Your 2 day stay with 2 pets would cost a total of $68 plus tax. For 3 pets, you would be pay another $30 for the 3rd pet. Your 2 day stay with 3 pets would be $98 plus tax. For more than 3 pets, you'll be charged the above pet fees, and at our option we will often require a damage deposit. The damage deposit is refunded in full, and within no more than 14 days, if there is no damage. For extended stays you will also pay applicable fees and charges, but the fees. If pet fees sound confusing please just request a pet fee quote before you reserve. SECURITY, HEALTH SERVICES & EMERGENCY SERVICES We have a security service that checks the house periodically, as well as maintenance and landscaping people. You are unlikely to see any of these folks and they won't come to the door unless there is a problem. For your own safety, do not let anyone that you don't know into the property during your stay. In the case of a medical emergency - there is a fire department about a block from the house, and the local hospital is about 6 miles away. o There are smoke detectors in halls and bedrooms. o There is a fire extinguisher in the kitchen. o There is a first aid kit in the bathroom but it is not guaranteed to cover all of your needs if you are hurt.
