Beautiful desert home with private pool/backyard

Welcome to our home in the heart of La Quinta! Short-Term Vacation Rental permit #068273 The 3-bedroom, 2-bath home is close to so much that the Palm Springs area has to offer: dining, art, hiking, biking, markets, Joshua Tree and other amazing sites. The home is our vacation home first + has all the comforts that we enjoy having there: good appliances, fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, cozy decor. The private garden backyard is a perfect oasis: a sunny pool, lush garden + dining area. The space We are committed to following rules and regulations from the City of La Quinta and keeping everyone happy and safe. We have implemented extra cleaning protocol and have additional soap and disinfecting wipes in the home. A new regulation has been implemented within the City of La Quinta: *no sound amplification is allowed outside any short-term rental property. This includes radio, musical instruments, CD or DVD player or any machine, device or equipment. No excessive noise that disturbs the peace and quiet of any neighborhood is allowed. This applies to all short-term rentals within the City of La Quinta. Our home is located in a residential neighborhood which is quiet, calm and peaceful. Our neighbors expect that quiet and peacefulness. If your group is loud, our neighbors will (and have) call the La Quinta Noise Complaint Line and you may incur a fine and be evicted. Please don't let this happen! Quiet time is 10:00pm - 7:00am. This is NOT a party house. NO events. NO parties. If you want to party, please do not book this location. If you want a beautiful house, a pretty pool and garden to relax and spend special time in, you are at the right place. OUR HOME: Our home is very close to the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, world class hiking, amazing golf, cool shopping and restaurants, art, Old Town La Quinta, Palm Desert, Palm Springs....all the special activities of the area. With 300+ days of sunshine every year you can explore the beautiful scenery of the area. The house feels so spacious with cathedral ceilings in the great room. Comfortable furnishings make it easy to relax while watching the 65" flat screen, smart TV. The fully equipped kitchen is available to create meals and the large dining room table can seat 8 for a lively meal or games in the evening. There is also a poker table with all the fixings plus lots of games. There are security cameras outside (front door, driveway and down both sides of the house to ensure security at property line), a Ring doorbell system and Nest thermostat, all for your comfort. The master bedroom, with a California King Bed, is a calm oasis with sliding glass doors giving access to the backyard. The master bathroom has a rain shower surrounded by glass blocks. All bedrooms have 55" flat-screen smart (Roku) TVs. The second & third bedrooms have comfortable Queen beds. The laundry room is equipped with full-size washer & dryer for your use. We have laundry soap and fabric softener available for you. California shutters throughout the house keep it cool during the hot seasons. We updated all the pool/spa equipment in 2020. This is our vacation home too, so it is as comfortable as possible! There are 4 lounge chairs for relaxing around the pool, along with adirondack chairs and the teak dining table. The backyard is truly an oasis. Peaceful for you to relax in or room to float in the pool, soak in the hot tub, and listen to the birds sing away. The pool is approximately 20 feet long and 8 feet wide. It is a curved shape so the dimensions are approximate. The hot tub is attached to the pool. The pool is not big enough for diving and is approximately 5 feet at it's deepest point. The pool is great and we love it, but understand it isn't huge or deep. Summer details to help you beat the desert heat: 2 shade sails over the pool and surrounding patio area; misters in the backyard patio area; trees in the backyard providing privacy and some shaded areas; shutters on all windows help keep the indoors cool. We ask that you not use any radio or play any music outdoors even with your phone. The City of La Quinta has passed a bylaw regarding noise outdoors in short-term rentals and we expect our guests to comply with these new rules. Guest access Guests have the full home to themselves. The pool and backyard is private and it is all yours to use and enjoy! Other things to note There is a 11% Transient Occupancy Tax charged by the City of La Quinta that is added on to your rental cost. AirBnb now has all-inclusive pricing which includes all their guest and hosting fees. You will see all fees are included now in our nightly pricing, so the only additional fees will be cleaning and pet/pool heat (if you opt for that) We cannot stress enough that we are in a quiet residential neighborhood and our neighbors expect that quiet and peacefulness to continue. If you are coming to party, do not book our home. NO events. NO parties. We require that guests booking our home be over the age of 25. We charge $40 per day to heat the pool and spa. Please arrange prior to your visit so we can make sure the pool is heated and ready for you. During the cooler months it takes some time to get the pool and spa to the right temperature. You will not need the pool heater in the summer months and we have added temporary shade sails over the pool for the hottest months to help keep the water temperature refreshing. The shade sails will usually be up May - September. Some times we can let you have a late check-out time. It depends on when the next guest is arriving and also on our cleaners schedule. We have a late check-out fee of $100 if we are able to accommodate you. Registration details 068273
