Located 17 mi W of Minocqua, Amber Lake is a 736-acre Class A Muskie Lake w/walleye & panfish. 17 mi to Lake of the Torches Casino and Winter Park Recreation area. The snowmobile trail goes across the lake. There is a public boat landing a mile away. The screen porch is 75' from the lake where you can enjoy a level sandy beach and campfire pit. Rentals come with a boat slip and electricity located directly in front of the cabin. We hope our serene setting helps you unwind, relax & reconnect. The space We purchased and refurbished the Pines Cabin located at the Whispering Woods Cottages: a smaller resort property containing 5 single-family, year-round cabins. There are 2 other rental cabins on site. So if you have a larger group, there may be availability to rent three cabins (each sleeping 6). We offer Wi-Fi, Broadcast and Hulu TV, and Netflix. You will have your own lakeside picnic table and outdoor charcoal and gas grills. All mattresses, box springs, blankets, quilts and kitchen appliances were purchased new in 2022. A shower remodel was completed in 2023. Other things to note Sorry that we do not allow pets. There is also no smoking on the property. Due to Covid and having no laundry facilities on site, guests must bring their own bedsheets, pillowcases, bath towels and wash cloths, dish towels and dish rags. There are plenty of blankets, quilts and throws so no need to bring those items.
