Welcome to our home at Kolob Canyons Guest House, located on five acres just three miles from Zion National Park's northwest Kolob Canyons section. It is close to Interstate I-15, 2 1/2 hours from Las Vegas, and in the heart of national parks and public lands. Stunning views are found in all directions including the Pine Valley Wilderness Area. It is 20-minutes south of Cedar City, UT, home of the world-famous Utah Shakespeare Festival. We have some of the best four-season weather anywhere. This listing is for three bedrooms and one bath on the ground-floor walk-out of a private residence. It is very private, opening up to a beautiful garden patio. Please understand though that it is not a fully private home to yourself, but you will not share this space with anyone else. The hosts live full time upstairs in the residence, which means you may hear them occasionally. A pullout sofa is also available in the living area. The theme of the living area celebrates the national parks and other public lands that we are surrounded by. The bedrooms reflect our travel and living overseas (Ezulwini - southern Africa) and our personal background (Hawaii). The third bedroom is a great space for children with a toddler bed and Pack'n Play available. You will have the entire ground floor to yourself and will not share with anyone else. You will first enter the living room area, with its National Park theme celebrated with national park posters, maps, and pictures. The National Park Room has a fully stocked, full kitchen and living area with a pullout sofa, kitchen table, a bar-table with stools (can be used as a work desk), and a large-screen TV. There are three bedrooms, and a bathroom with full bath and linens. We love people but recognize that some of us like our space. Please let us know what would work best for you. Kolob Canyons Guest House is located 5 minutes from the north end of Zion National Park (Kolob Canyons are) on five acres among neighbors with horses and small farms. The valley is a mixture of open grasslands and trees. Easy driving access to I-15 Interstate highway. Plenty of free parking with room for trailers or RVs. The Guest House is in the center of world class national parks and public lands: - 5 minutes from the north end of Zion National Park (Kolob Canyons area) - 45 minutes from the south entrance to Zion - 1 hour from Cedar Breaks National Monument and Pipe Springs National Monument - 1 1/2 hours from Bryce Canyon National Park - 3 hours from the North Rim of Grand Canyon National Park, Lake Powell and Capitol Reef National Park - Close proximity to numerous other public lands areas (US Forests, BLM, State Parks) and even 2 ghost towns! The Guest House has room for up to 6 guests. If you are an individual or smaller group, we will place you in one of the bedrooms for ease of maintenance and cleaning.
