Situated in one of the most scenic areas of Positano center, walking from the pedestrian area, you can easily reach the Big Beach and the Pier ( ferry to Capri and Amalfi) , either the beautiful Fornillo beach. The gate of our villa is reached climbing only 13 stairs from main road. You can reach eight restaurants, three groceries and all kind of shops walking only from 50 to 400 meters. The space “Mare” is a beautiful apartment at the first floor of our villa where guests 4 Adults + 1 Kid, all on beds, baby cot on request. It as well is situated in the heart of Positano, a 10-minute walk to the beach. It is reached by only 18-step stairway off the main road. The terraced patio is endowed with a lovely potted Mediterranean garden, sun lounge-chairs, and evening lighting. The terrace/patio will be your favourite spot to relax outdoors from morning till night, when the moon is reflected in the sea below. "Mare" has a patio in front of the living room which is covered by one large masonry arch; patio doors and windows lead to the living-room and the kitchen. All the bedrooms and livingroom have air conditioning and internet access. The living-room… You will find the interiors of "Mare" to be cozy and elegantly furnished. An arched door leads you from the patio to the living room. This space is equipped with a couch which doubles as a sofa-bed. The opposite side of this area houses a kitchen. In the corner of the living room there is a dining area furnished with a table and chairs. The living room is equipped with satellite TV & internet WiFi free. The Kitchen The kitchen is lovely and well-equipped: there is a four-burner stove, an oven, a microwave oven, expresso coffe machine with coffe pods, a washing machine, a fridge with freezer, water clean and chilled, American maker coffe, tea bags & electric and gas teapot, Dishwasher and small appliances. You can prepare your breakfast with croissants, butter, jam, honey, nutella, biscuits, coffee cream and coffee pods that you will find upon your arrival. The bedrooms and bathrooms The indoor entrance leads you from the living room to the two bedrooms. In each bedroom there is a bathroom, one with Jacuzzi, another with shower. Both bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning, winter heating, internet WiFi and international TV. Guest access I can give you directions how will reach us: If you arrive by Ferry, you will give your suitcases to the Porters on the pier, they will bring them to us, you will reach us walking up a flight of steps and narrow streets for about 600 meters. If you are arriving by Sita Bus, you will stop at the Stop Chiesa Nuova, go down a flight of steps for about 200 meters to reach us, or walk down Viale Pasitea in the direction of Centro and you will be with us after about 800 meters. Positano is essentially is the pearl for the Amalfi Coast and must be your Amalfi Coast itinerary. All in all, no matter how you decide to spend here – it will all be fabulous. From the colorful, cascading buildings on the mountains to the delectable dishes that are all better than the last – our advises doesn’t disappoint. Positano is truly designed for getting lost. Plan to put down the map and just enjoy the views and hues of this gorgeous slice of earth. Wander the streets, alleys and stairways and uncover some of the prettiest views in the world. Perhaps also sneak in a bit of shopping. You can find incredible ceramics, handmade sandal and dress made in Positano! here you will find– beautiful beaches, shopping, lots restaurants, tour options to visit Capri by boat, easy ferries with many coastal destinations. Using Positano as a starting point you can easily spend your time exploring neighboring towns like Sorrento, Amalfi, Ravello, the island of Capri and Pompeii escavations. Here you don’t need to speak Italian. Get ready to walk. By the end of everyday your feet will were beat even when wearing sneakers. Positano and the surrounding towns are built into cliffs and very hilly. Anywhere you go is going to involve somewhat of a hike– either to or from. Our villa is in the middle of town in Positano and from there it was either a 10 min walk uphill or downhill to whatever restaurant or place we were headed. Remember: When you choosing a hotel or Air BnB I’d make sure to check if it’s accessible via car– some aren’t which then means you’re lugging suitcases uphill by foot.
