Timberlane Mountain Retreat

Come enjoy the cool Blue Ridge mountains of Boone, North Carolina! Our home is located in the woods where greenery abounds. Mountain breezes keep us cool in the summer. * Please note no AC, have ceiling and box fans. We have a steep driveway, 4WD is recommended for winter months. We do not have a television in our home, so you can feel free to delight in the beauty and seclusion of our wooded location. However, WiFi is included should you need to stay connected to the rest of the world!! The space There are two bedrooms with full-sized (double) beds, a bathroom and a small common area with a small fridge, microwave, small toaster oven, small crockpot, coffee maker and basic kitchen utensils. Skylights provide plenty of natural light. You will enjoy our high quality Laura Ashley and Liz Claiborne sheets and comforters in the bedrooms. Our towels are thick, plush, comfortable. We also have an extra twin mattress, a "pack-n-play" crib and a high chair if needed. Both units are located in our home on Timberlane Drive. Guest access You will have complete privacy and a separate entrance to your upstairs rooms. Apologies, but there is absolutely no smoking or pets allowed anywhere on our property. This is a quiet family home, absolutely no parties or loud noise allowed! Sorry, no undergraduate college students! Grad students only. Other things to note A light breakfast of a delicious homemade muffin and Quaker Instant (flavored) oatmeal(s) and granola bars will be provided the first morning of your stay. Starbucks Pike Place coffee, a variety of Celestial Seasonings, Earl Grey tea, Land 'O Lake hot cocoa mixes and sparkling water are also provided with coffee creamer and sugar/honey. Homemade chocolate chip cookies and premium Lindor and Ghirardelli or Ferrero Rocher chocolates await! A small refrigerator is available for your groceries. We have wonderful, clean, mountain well water to drink – a pitcher of chilled water will be waiting for you in the fridge! TWO NIGHT MINIMUM STAY ONLY, PLEASE!
