Enter the property on a private lane, past fishing ponds and rolling hills, then take a winding gravel lane into the woods where you will find your own private retreat. There is plenty of sleeping space, as there are 8 beds. Open concept living, kitchen, and dining room, complete with a wood burning stove. Outside is a fire ring and sitting area. A relaxing walk in rain shower will await you after a day of hiking or shopping. Hiking, fishing, and wildlife viewing are just outside the door! A roomy cabin with exposed hardwoods and modern amenities located on 400 acres. Complete and fully stocked kitchen for any cooking or baking needs. A tiled walk in rain shower with bench to relax after a long day. There is a fire pit area with picnic tables and a gas grill to enjoy a bonfire and cook out. The front of the property has 2 catch and release fishing ponds, so bring your poles. The cabin is located back in the woods where there are miles of hiking trails. Enjoy no neighbors as the cabin is secluded and private. Please note, hiking trails are closed for the duration of deer archery season starting October 1st. Whole house and property access. We are located in about the middle of the Shawnee National Forest so you can reach both east and west sides for your exploring adventures! Starting in April, the front of the property hosts a u-pick flower farm starting in the spring with daffodils, then summer and fall flowers that include sunflowers, zinnia, cosmos, lilies, and more. The 30.00 "resort" fee is for firewood that we will provide for the wood stove and outdoor fire pit.
