Mickey's DreamHouse! Stay In Style!
You Will Love Our Home! Priced For Families!
Description
Why stay in a cramped hotel? Relax on the largest pool deck in Emerald Island or enjoy playing games with the kids under the ceiling fan outside. Our luxury home just a few miles from Disney will give you the vacation that you deserve. The purpose of our home is to allow family and friends to come together and enjoy life in a relaxed atmosphere. Our home is not designed for 'parties'. If we receive a complaint from the resort, guest will be evicted and forfeit the remainder of their rental fee. The space If you want to see it before/after your read about it: Go to YouTube and search for Mickey's Hideaway. The thumbnail will be of the Cars Room. The steel drum band lets you know you are at the right place. Our lovely home will never let you forget that you are on the best vacation of your life. The bedrooms are themed so that both young and old will love staying in them. It is a family home, so for us to be considerate of the community and other vacationers we do not allow parties. You can relax on our pool deck while enjoying a nice meal outside with your family. Our pool deck is the largest one in Emerald Island with a covered lanai complete with ceiling fans. The hot tub runs on a separate gas heater than the pool, so that you can climb in and let the stress of the day be 'bubbled' away within minutes after turning it on. The huge lanai with ceiling fan allows you to relax on even the hottest day whether you are drinking a cup of java at the beautiful wicker table or snoozing on one of the comfortable pool chairs. When we stay here, we love to enjoy either snacking on the pool deck or eating a nice meal inside. That is why in 2016 we have added all stainless steel appliances, installed laminated wood floors upstairs, and refinished our pool. We also hate wasting time doing the 'chores' when we could be enjoying the parks, so we purchased an extra capacity washing and drying machine to speed things up. As of August 2021, we updated the furniture in the family room, living and dining rooms as well. We have seven bedrooms. There are two king rooms with a king sized bed and private bathroom. Two other rooms have king beds, but do not have their own bath. One of the rooms is a queen sized bed and two of them are twin bedrooms. Each twin bedroom has two twin beds in it. Our children helped us decide on the themes. My youngest daughter loves Frozen, so in one bedroom we have a frozen theme. Princess carriage beds beside a huge wall mural that has all the best characters. Kristoff is playing a guitar for Olaf to sing while the princesses enjoy the concert. We have princess dolls on each bed so girls can fall asleep hugging them. The closet has both room to hang clothes and a pretty dresser to help you feel at home instead of living out of a suitcase. All of the bedrooms have dressers and closet space. My older daughters love Harry Potter. Therefore, we made one room themed after Harry Potter. The walls have school insignias on them. There are also quotes from the books and the spell for on/off on the light switch. This nice touch was my daughter's favorite thing about the room. When my sons were smaller, they fell in love with Cars. So, we made one room themed for Cars. The dresser in this room is a small toolbox. There is a racing signal light on it, flashing red, yellow and green. The beds themselves are little racing cars and look like they leapt out of the wall mural of the race behind them. The curtains, pillow cases and comforters all maintain the magic. Continuing upstairs, there is a Queen room. This room has soft colors and a queen bed for relaxing. We thought this room would work well for older, 'more sophisticated' children. :) Who doesn't love Star Wars? Upstairs we have a king room themed after the franchise. Name all the characters and planets you can. The upstairs King Master Room is patterned after the beach. I told you that we loved the beach. This room makes you feel and think that you are actually on the ocean. There is a huge wall mural of white sand and palm trees, along with seashell lamps and real seashells around in jars. The bright comforter adds to the joy of being outside while in the air conditioning. Even the bathroom continues the theme with sandals for towel holders and a surfing shower curtain. The King bedroom downstairs was designed by my wife. For our 30th wedding anniversary we went to Europe and my wife and I both fell in love with Paris, France. The room creates the emotion of staying in Paris, with an Eiffel tower theme throughout the bedroom and the bathroom. We can easily sleep 12 people as well as a couple of port-a-cribs. We are great for large families or for multiple families vacationing together. We also provide strollers for your use, and a port-a-crib for the tiny Disney lovers. Our location is fantastic for everything that the Orlando area has to offer. We are minutes from Disney. We are actually the closest gated community to WDW that is not on Disney property. It is almost like being on Disney property without being locked into a total Disney holiday. If you feel like going to Universal or Sea World, hop in your car and you can be there in about 20 minutes. If you want to enjoy a night eating out instead of cooking in our beautiful kitchen, we are literally minutes away from every ethnic food you can imagine. Our location puts you within miles of any fast food, medium or expensive restaurants. We were there for a few months in 2016, so we decided to eat at a different place every 'date night'. For our entire marriage we have gone out at least one night a week on a date. In four months, we never ate at the same place twice and never had to drive more than 20 minutes. The location is so fantastic. If you are a shopper, there are outlet malls, strip malls and normal shopping malls all an easy drive away. We love the beach. My son and daughter in law live in Clearwater Beach so when we are in the States we visit them often. Just take I-4 west and you are there in a little over an hour, enjoying the calm waves and white sands of what was voted Florida's Number One Beach in 2016. If you like more adventure, then head to Port Canaveral to the east. It is slightly closer and offers surfing and wind-surfing. We are close to Universal and Sea World, and easy drive to water parks and tons of shopping opportunities. Guest access The whole house is yours! You also have total access to the resort, which includes hiking trails, tennis and basketball courts, clubhouse and weight room, volleyball, community pool and hot tub, etc. Other things to note This home has a gorgeous private pool! It can be heated to 84 degrees (It will feel cool when you first get in as your body temp is probably about 98 degrees) for $30/day or $200/week. Please let us know if this is something you'd like to add! Woohoo!
