Getting around The Cottage is ideally located for those wanting to explore the area by boat, kayak, paddle board, paddleboat, bike, ski, snowmobile, or snowshoe. During your stay We've lived all over and fell in love with Northern Michigan. We are looking forward to hosting your Michigan vacation. Your welcome guide found in the cottage has a plethora of guides and suggestions for food drink and activities for the direct and surrounding areas during your stay. Other things to note Enjoy complementary Wi-Fi and streaming Enjoy a private dock Please run dishwasher , strip beds and put towels by washing machine upon check out Garbage pickup is Wednesday mornings by 8am so please take the bit to the end of the drive by Tuesday evening. All disposed materials have to be bagged and put into the rolling bin to allow for pick up. If this does not happen, pick up will not happen per the garbage company rules . To ensure cleanliness there will be extra fees for a secondary pick up. There is also a recycling bin for your recyclables which we will collect at the end of your visit. This includes any delivery boxes and or a packaging that is recyclable or compostable. Please feel free to bag your bottle returns and we will happily return them at the end of your stay. Some outdoor elements are seasonal. Depending on time of year and or prior bookings, additional water plate items may not be available. We are a non-smoking non-vaping establishment thank you for respecting our clean environment for all current and future guests. Please only burn wood in the fire pit. Please dispose of store and clean outdoors, any fresh caught fish and or fishing materials( fish, bait) etc. Please inquire if you have specific questions prior to booking. We are dog friendly.
