Look no further for the perfect mountain escape. This single story custom built cabin offers over 2200 sq. ft. of living space and sits on over an acre in secluded pine trees. Walking distance to Cataract Lake, you can fish, kayak and so much more! You and your guests have access to a scenic railway tour through the Grand Canyon Railway, Bearizona Wildlife Park, Polar Express, restaurants and shops on Route 66, and the extraordinary Grand Canyon, which is less an hour drive from our log home. The space This home features a large, fully equipped entertainment kitchen with high-end appliances, quartz countertops, and a large island oak table. Lots of space for large gatherings. There is also a convenient laundry closet with a washer and dryer. The great room has 18' vaulted ceilings with a large ceiling fan, Plasma TV and DVD player. It has a rustic flagstone wood burning fireplace, a built-in bookcase with a selection of books, and a dining area. French doors lead to the outside deck with barbeque, and stunning views overlooking the horizon, great for gatherings and viewing the spectacular sunsets. There are three large, roomy bedrooms. The LARGE master bedroom includes a king size bed, and beautiful wood log siding. The custom built master bathroom includes luxuries such as a spa tub and a large separate shower. The second bedroom includes a queen size bed, with access to deck and views. The third bedroom includes two twin beds with mountain views. The living room, and second bedroom open onto the expansive deck. The deck includes a barbeque, and below the deck are 8 outdoor chairs and a large fire pit in the center, great for gatherings and star gazing (please note that fire restrictions may apply during dry seasons and also that this is outdoor furniture subject to rain and wind). Guest access There is an oversized three car garage and even more room in the drive way for cars and trailers. The third car garage is locked with no guest access as that is where we store additional toiletries, propane tanks etc. Other things to note Please know that the Cabin gets treated for bugs and pest every two weeks. While we do our best to keep all bugs and pests away, this is still the desert so there may be an occasional spider, mouse or pest. There is also Elk and Deer that will roam around the property and neighborhood. The Cabin is on a septic system. ABSOLUTLY NO wet wipes or feminine products can be flushed down the toilet. Only host provided toilet paper. If toilet or pipes get clogged due to flushing improper items down the toilet there will be a charge and possible risk or loosing a portion or all of the deposit. We are constantly changing up decoration in the Cabin. The decorations you see online when booking the property may be different by the time you book your stay. The Cabin is professionally cleaned and inspected every time a guest checks out. Wear and tear is inevitable so if something breaks such as a leaking pipe or microwave please let us know and we will get it fixed ASAP and make your stay as comfortable as possible. If something is broken due to misuse or malice you risk loosing your deposit. Water is EXTREMELY valuable here. Please be conscious of water usage and as conservative as possible.
