We're just 15 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge, but you'll feel a world away the moment you arrive. Getting here and location You'll love that the entire drive is on paved roads—no white-knuckle mountain driving required. We're perfectly positioned with downtown Blue Ridge shopping and the Scenic Railway 15 minutes away, Lake Blue Ridge Marina at 20 minutes, and hiking trails starting just 10 minutes from the front door. Mercier Orchards, local wineries, and the Aska Adventure Area are all easy drives. The bedrooms The top floor king suite is my favorite spot in the house. Step out onto your private screened porch with morning coffee and take in the mountain views. You've got your own bathroom and a little coffee station up there—it's the perfect retreat within the retreat. On the main level, there's a queen bedroom right off the living area with easy bathroom access and no stairs to climb. The lower level queen suite gives you total privacy with its own bathroom and direct access to the game room. All three bedrooms have comfortable mattresses and fresh linens waiting for you. The game room everyone talks about This is honestly what guests rave about most. The lower level game room has become the heart of the house for families and friend groups. There's an Infinity Game Table loaded with over 100 digital board games, a retro arcade console with 400+ classic games (think Pac-Man, Galaga, all the favorites), and a professional shuffleboard table that gets surprisingly competitive. We've also got a collection of traditional board games, a TV with DISH service, and a large tic-tac-toe game mounted on the wall. Other things to note Security & Payment A refundable security deposit is collected separately after booking through our secure payment system. This is fully refunded within 7 days after checkout if no damages occur. Pet Policy Dogs are welcome at Luna's Mountain Lodge! We charge $100 pet fee, which covers up to two dogs. Please include them in your guest count when booking. Please keep pets off furniture and beds, and clean up after them both inside and outside. We ask that you crate or confine pets when left alone in the cabin. Hot Tub Guidelines The hot tub is available year-round and seats up to 6 people. We ask that guests shower before use, no glass containers near the tub, and children under 16 must have adult supervision. Please keep the cover on when not in use to maintain temperature. Important Access Information The cabin has three levels connected by interior stairs. The main level queen bedroom is ideal for guests who prefer to avoid stairs, but the king suite and lower level bedroom do require stair access. Fireplace & Firepit The gas fireplace operates seasonally (typically October-April). The outdoor firepit is available year-round, weather permitting. Firewood is not provided but available for purchase locally. Quiet Hours Please respect our mountain community by keeping noise levels moderate after 10pm, including hot tub use.
