Active Family Beach Cottage

Adjacent to a regional park with frontage on Lake Johanna. Vacation or downtime on a business visit: you can stay at the lake without leaving the city. This clean cozy cottage has private lake access and is across the street from a regional park, miles of trails, 10-15 minutes from St Paul and Minneapolis downtowns. Summer on the lake, winter on the ice. Jog in the park. BBQ on the porch. Park yourself at the dock. Cook in the full kitchen, quick drive to a local restaurant, tavern, or order in. The space 2022 new heating and air conditioning systems, every surface cleaned and painted, granite countertops. Good beds, furniture, entertainment system, and kitchen gear. The house was built in 1910 but extensive remodel in 90s and major improvements in 2021-22. Some of the flooring and wood work is a bit rustic, but clean, freshly painted or varnished. This is a non-smoking, pet free, clean space. The beds have high quality mattresses and linens (sleep is important). The sun will shine in the East facing windows in the morning and set through the West facing windows in the evening. The back yard is ready for spring cleanup. There is an above ground fire place in the side yard and marshmallow roasting skewers in the kitchen. Guest access The entire house, half acre yard, and dock and lake front. The garage is currently not available. Potential to sleep 6 comfortably, 8 if you consider an Ikea futon couch, plus one crib (upon request) and two non-sleeper couches.
