Ash House is in a stunning location on the shores of Loch Kishorn surrounded by picturesque scenery and is a fully equipped, comfortable and perfect highland holiday home. The views surrounding us include the Bealach na Ba and the Applecross Corries as well as over to Isle of Skye. We're on the NC500 tucked away in the attractive village of Achintraid with enviable views all year round. Ideal for families & friends, available to rent for a minimum stay of 7 nights. The space We built our house in 2011 as our family home. Our aim was to make use of the wonderful views and have an area where we could all be together whether we were cooking, eating, watching TV or playing. We created an open plan kitchen, dining, sitting room with large windows in order to enjoy the views to the maximum. The kitchen is well equipped for a family with an excellent Rangemaster which consists of 2 double electric ovens, a grill and a small warming oven. The gas hob has 5 rings and the large fridge has a small freezer. There is also a large chest freezer in the utility room. There is a wood burner in the sitting area which gives off enough heat to warm the whole house. Being a relatively newly built house there is plenty of insulation so it's always warm and naturally there's central heating. There are 4 bedrooms, 2 upstairs - the spacious master bedroom and a twin room across the hallway. Both have an en-suite bathroom with a bath and a powerful shower overhead. There are 2 further bedrooms downstairs which share a bathroom. One of the bedrooms is a double which overlooks the sea and the other "hillside" bedroom is a twin. The bathroom has a bath with another powerful shower overhead. Also downstairs there is a well equipped utility room with washing machine, tumble drier, chest freezer and a separate WC Guest access Guests have access to the entire house as described. There is a small room which we keep locked which has our personal possessions in it since we come up regularly from Edinburgh where we now live. Other things to note The house was our family home for 4 years. Reluctantly due to work commitments we moved to Edinburgh but return frequently. The house is therefore as we would like to return to it - comfortable and with everything needed for a great holiday! We are happy to welcome up to 2 well behaved adult dogs and ask that they respect "house rules" such as not being allowed upstairs, in bedrooms or on the sofas.
