Lake Gaston Waterfront Log Cabin

What better way to enjoy what Lake Gaston has to offer then in a beautiful Log Cabin on the water. From large family get togethers to small intimate gatherings, this property caters to all. The space The main floor has an open floor concept so while you are making meals in the fully stocked kitchen you can enjoy the lake views. When the food is ready, what better way to present your meals then on a 100 year old Amish barn wood table! This table was seen many tasty holiday feasts and is the perfect backdrop for those food pics. If you want to have your meals outside, the deck has two dining tables and a gas grill and ohh the view! The living room has enough space for everyone to cozy up, the new fluffy leather couches are great for a movie night or for enjoying that new book by the glow from the fireplace. On the main floor there are three bedrooms. A master with an ensuite bath and a large walk in closet. The other two bedrooms, one king and one queen have plenty of closet space and and a full hall bathroom. Down stairs you will find two more queen size bedrooms and a large bunk room that sleeps six but has plenty of space for a large air mattress if needed. If the rain stops the outdoor fun, no worries! Come inside and play a game of pool, shuffleboard or challenge the kiddos to an intense video game. Pac-Man, Space Invaders, Burger Time and Frogger are just some of the classics you can play on the arcade machine. Better yet, make it adults vs. kids and show them how it's done! Now to our favorite part of the property, Lake Gaston of course! When we bought this home we instantly fell in love with the outdoor space. The fire pit where roasting marshmallows and telling stories is a must! The beach area where little ones love to play in the sand and stomp on those sand castles that dad has to rebuild over and over. The dock where swimming, jumping and lounging in the sun could go on all day long. The swinging in the hammocks that take everyday worries away, the kayaking and our favorite part, fishing. When you stay with us you will have access to the boathouse and can use the kayaks throughout your stay. We have life vests of many sizes in the boathouse that guests are welcome to use but we strongly suggest for water safety you bring your own. Guest access Our guests have full access to everything on the property Except the boat lift. There is plenty of space to tie off your water vessel at our dock during your stay but please be mindful that you are responsible for any damage to the boathouse or dock during your stay. We are not responsible for any damage to your water vessel. Other things to note To access the main lake using a watercraft you have to pass under a culvert. On average the height of the bridges is 6' 6" and the water depth is 5' depending on the water levels for that day. It is highly recommended you use your best judgment and follow the boating safety regulations while on the water. Kayaks, jet skies and pontoon boats with the tower down can cross safely if using extreme caution so please be aware.
