Nestled off grid in 42 acres of permaculture meadows and woodlands your hut is peacefully situated with its own private garden and postcard views. This is a place to slow down, switch off and immerse yourself in majestic nature. Your stay includes membership of the Dartmouth spa and gym just 5 mins drive away. Stunning beaches, historic market towns, coastal walks, fine dining, river swimming, surfing, horse riding, cinemas and live music. All nearby with myriad options for the perfect break. The space This space has one double bed and an upholstered dining area that converts into another comfortable bed to sleep up to 2 young children or one further adult. There's a neat 4 ring gas hob and grill, pans, cooking facilities, oil, salt, pepper and crockery for 4. Boxes for food storage, small sink and draining board. Tea towels and toilet paper provided. Rainwater can be collected from the camp kitchen tap for washing and delicious spring water for drinking and cooking are pumped for you into containers replenished upon request. Eco washing up liquid and shampoo and conditioner are provided. There's a wood burner and your first basket of wood will be provided along with firelighters and eco bricks to get your fire going with ease. Wood thereafter is available at £5 a basket or £15 a wheelbarrow. Lighting is gentle and provided by battery operated fairy lights, rechargeable upon request. Double doors open onto a leafy tree surrounded private garden area with log seats, a firebowl and a small picnic table and 2 chairs. There's a huge camping meadow to cartwheel in next to the hut. A nature shower (wooden cubicle, bucket with shower head and lever ) is tucked neatly into the hedge nearby and can be filled with water heated up on the gas inside the hut, the rocket stove by the shower, or for a quick refresh, cold from the rainwater tap nearby. There's compost toilets in the same field and stunning views across camping field meadow towards Dartmoor. Guest access There is car parking available on site. The Shepherds Hut is situated in the adjacent field.
