Stirling's, "family style" is a private living area with a lower/upper floor attached to the studio/home. Private entrance & parking. No indoor pets or smoking. 8 acres, 365 ft lakeshore, swim, fish, water & jet ski, kayaking, paddle boat & board, volleyball, frisbee golf. Tension climbing wall-fees apply. Indoor residence pool + hot tub, & infrared sauna. Restaurants 3 miles, major cities 15-45 min. Ice fish & snowmobile trails right outside. Golf courses nearby. Fire pits, bring/gather wood The space Private retreat from city life for a week or more, which provides a creative and relaxing atmosphere for any musicians and bands to record, small weddings with video recording, group meetings, retreats, family reunions, anniversaries, birthdays, or individuals. No wild or destructive parties allowed. Guest count should be provided during booking yet can be modified up to the check-in date. (Check for availability to Record in Studio A or work in Studio B, which is not part of this pricing at StirlingSound). Large parking areas. No confetti, silly string, sprays, water or regular ballon popping, etc. is allowed indoors, otherwise large fines for professional cleaning will be incurred. When outdoors, clean up after yourselves. No fireworks allowed due to dry conditions and heavily wooded areas. All cigarettes should be picked up and disposed of properly or $100 fine applies. Strict rule: No smoking or pets allowed “indoors”, or $150. fine will be charged per day. Outdoor guest kennel area is available. Guests are required to clean up after their dogs, or other pets. Additional Pet fees $100 per pet/stay. Sleeps: 19 beds (2 twin size tucked under bed frames), also have a toddler size bed and a crib (bedroom 2), a folding chair cushion bed and toddler bed (bedroom 5), a twin roll a bed, and a twin cot (living room closet), and a queen sofa sleeper couch and sectional sleeping couch in the living room. There are additional air mattresses, sleeping bags, and roll up mattresses available for additional guests, if needed, stored within closet areas or under beds. Tents/campers welcome. Please use the amount of beds per your guest reservation. Please close off bedrooms that will not be used by your group as this helps to keep cleaning costs down. The 4th bedroom has a private handicap ramp entrance and is connected to the lower level living areas by stairs only though. Currently, an additional half bath is only open with the dining room rental. Possible limited access due to Audio Recording Facility. Please inquire if needed. Outside porta potty rental is also available for larger groups. The living room has an electric wood stove type fireplace for additional heat or ambience. Any visitors must be pre approved and must leave by Midnight, or as discussed. It is suggested to add your guests to stay overnight, to your guest count, if drinking is involved. Large groups : day guest fees may apply, so inquire if needed ( guest day event fee, or flat fee available whichever is less.) Guests areas are private. Make sure to correctly list your guest count when making your booking. 3 bathrooms: A full bathroom in the 2nd kitchen area, a full bathroom in bedroom 4, and a 3/4 bathroom off of the 1st kitchen and laundry room area. Outside port-a-potty’s possible. If needed, there is an extra table and some chairs available to use for larger groups in the entrance hallway. Both full kitchens have an eating area. There is a separate Indoor Banquet Dining area available for larger venues only (in the studio performance area when available) and a 1/2 bath. Seats approximately 30-40 people. Inquire if interested for your booking. Port-a potties for guests. I currently have 70 chairs and 16 tables (2x4). Two 10x10 pop up canopy tents, and a 10x30 pop up tent. Extra rental fees apply. Excellent fishing, jet skiing, water skiing, swimming farther out in lake is possible (small sandy beach area / shallow shoreline), snowmobiling, some sledding and snowboarding hills, and ice fishing right outside your door. 2 kayaks, paddle board, and a paddle boat are available to use with the understanding that you will use them at your own risk, put them back when done, and are responsible for any damages incurred because of using them. 20’ Pontoon for rent on fish lake only, seats 14. Some life jackets are in the residence pool area and available for use. Other lakes, and beaches are close by as well. Great trail system for snowmobiling and four wheeling. Powder ridge is about 30 minutes away with tubing and snow skiing. Golf course within 4 miles and others around in the area. Outdoor Volleyball court down towards the lake and frisbee golf. Horseshoes, trampoline. Event room: Tension board climbing wall, 12x12 adjustable wall with app integrated lights. The wall can go zero degrees to 70° overhang and has over 7000 routes. Extra fees apply with an hour of training included. Inquire if interested in adding the wall climbing experience to your stay. No food or beverages allowed in this area. A Waiver Form is required to be signed before climbing at your own risk. If it is not signed before climbing, it still constitutes as being signed as instructions were posted here. Forms are available by the climbing entrance. The residence indoor pool and hot tub, and infrared sauna are located back up the driveway to the left side of the 4 car garage area. There is a concrete walkway on the left side of the double door garages. Or you can walk up the concrete path from the recording studio lakeside area to the other entrance for the residence pool / hot tub, and infrared sauna, 2nd full kitchen and tension climbing wall areas. Same access code applies to both area doors. In the winter you are welcome to park up next to the residence pool door area, while using the space. Close residence pool and hot tub when finished using each day. 2nd indoor kitchen is located in the residence pool and hot tub, infrared sauna, and tension climbing wall area. 2 outdoor grills are located lakeside and 2 additional grills and a griddle are located in the patio area up by the 2nd kitchen area. Usually someone is available on the property, living in a separate addition of the complex, if needed, during your stay. I’m usually available by text. Multiple dogs (3 shollies/1 lab) on site, yet dogs are usually quiet, some barking may occur. Typically all are fenced in and not accessible to guests. Outside noise courtesy is 12 am to 7 am. The furnace and air conditioning controls for the rental areas are located in bedroom 4. Bedroom 5 has its own controls with in floor heat. Remember to keep the outside doors and windows closed in your living areas and in the pool area so that the bugs don’t get in at night. Thanks again! Guest access Indoor residential pool for family and invited guests, 6 ft. deep end - NO diving permitted, swim at your own risk, no lifeguard on duty. Children 14 and under need to be supervised by an adult. The Residence Pool and hot tub, infrared sauna, 2nd kitchen, and rock climbing wall area entrances are located up the concrete sidewalk on the lakeside, go around the studio entrance area, to the lakeside entrance door, or back up the driveway to the left side of the double garages up top. Press home, enter access code, 2 blue check marks will appear to unlock and gain access. The Residence Pool is open until 12 AM, or as discussed, if you are an invited guest. The Residence Pool heater is in the equipment room. Press Up/down with the arrows to adjust temp. Make sure to close the residence pool when finished using each day. If the cover should get stuck when closing, please stop closing it and leave it open and let me know. If you are invited as a guest to use the residence hot tub, Press AND hold the green button on the side of the hot tub while closing the cover. Closing the residence pool and hot tub covers will keep the heat and moisture in. The infrared sauna located in the same area does NOT require water to be used. Karaoke machine is available in the living room area for your use, along with a variety of vcr movies, board games and books for children and adults. There is a TV in the infrared sauna area that you can go online to different apps and sing out loud as well with the 2nd karaoke machine located in the towel area. Please sign the liability release form for your group/family when you enter StirlingSound Airbnb rental, thank you! The forms are located next to the entrance door, lakeside, and also in the infrared sauna room. If the form is not signed during your stay that will count as still being signed. There are a few fire rings on the property lake side for use. There is a garden hose over by the grills, behind the lattice fencing where the air conditioners are, for the fire pit up by the house, if needed; and there’s a garden hose down the hill towards the lake on the light post if needed for a fire down there if occurring only in the fire pit area. Also a garden hose is behind the swing under the handicap deck area. Garden hoses are also located up by the 2nd kitchen area. Other things to note There are seven outside security cameras located around the property to protect you and the property itself. You are responsible for picking up after yourself and disposing of your garbage. Recycling and separation of garbage is the responsibility of guests. Trash cans are labeled within the kitchen to help assist. Remember to take ALL garbage and bring it up top to the garbage bins before you leave. Depending on your group size, there may be an additional garbage removal fee. A Large bin will be at the end of the driveway for larger groups. Typical pricing is $200-250. If needed for larger groups, outside portable toilets for your guests is possible, $100 fee. 20’ Pontoon available to rent. Seats 14. Other boat and jet ski rentals are available in our area. I have a few sleds and snowboards available to use at your own risk. No daily cleaning. I will wash pool towels daily, if needed. Please leave your towels in the towel room off of the residence pool area each night. Other towels can be placed in the laundry room area before you leave. You do have access to your own washer and dryer to take care of washing them for yourself if needed. The cleaning fee is only for after any guests have vacated. Please remove your bed sheets and place them on the floor, next to each bed when leaving, or in the laundry room. If any bedding that was used has not been removed, additional fees will apply, minimum $50. If you smoke it is only allowed outdoors. Please pick up all your cigarette butts and dispose of them properly, or $100 fine applies. Thanks! Important rule: No feminine products, or anything besides feces and toilet paper should be flushed down the toilets. No cooking grease, or food should be poured down any sink. A $750 fine will be charged due to septic ejection pump and basket will need to be cleaned. No pets indoors or fines occur. Noise courtesy outside is 12 am to 7 am.
