We do have an exterminating company treat our property. However, if you encounter an insect or ant, please feel free to dispose of it or catch and release it to the outside world (your choice). Photo ID is also required in order for age requirement compliance and to issue HOA gate passes for our neighborhood.* Guest access Guests have access to great room, kitchen and dining, upstairs laundry, 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms as listed (with exception of rooms locked for owners storage including unoccupied master suite). There are two steps to get into the house, common areas are on ground floor and there is a bedroom and full bathroom on the ground floor for guests that may have mobility restrictions. Home is comfortably furnished with full kitchen. Back deck, grill and patio set and picnic table for outside dining. Please note: no access to garage, but there is ample driveway parking. Guests are welcome to use of our canoe, kayaks, paddle boards and lake access. Our home is located on a 125 acre lake that connects to another 250 acre lake. Lakes are used for swimming, fishing and boating — swimming and water sports are at your own risk. Neighborhood amenities include a beach area with volleyball nets, fitness trail, and two parks. (Note: Community pool is not available to guests and guests may not bring their own motorboats. Feel free to bring your kayak or paddle board.) Other things to note *A signed contract required by the NC Vacation Rental Act and verified ID is required to complete the reservation. Our private community has a community code which all guests must agree to follow. Drivers license and vehicle description are required for the gate guards. *Pets are welcome upon approval and with a nonrefundable pet fee. Pets must be on leash. * This is a No Smoking property (no vaping, e-cigs, marijuana, pipes, cigars...). * Use of lake is at your own risk. Please swim safely and keep a watchful eye on children. *Prebooking: Please answer the questions below in your reservation request.
