Our Tigh Beag (little house in Gaelic) invites you to exhale. Bring your paddle board, kayak or launch a motorized boat nearby. A short drive to world class golf and the Island’s many attractions, we are a part of the Bras d'Or Lake UNESCO Biosphere Reserve (the largest inland salt water lake in the world). The space Enjoy privacy and solitude. Our waterfront bungalow is nestled amid mature trees with a rustic wildflower path to the shore. Guest access Guests enjoy access to the entire house and over an acre of treed property. The bungalow has WiFi, fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, washer and dryer, full bathroom, large screen T.V with Roku as well as DVD movies, X-Box, books, indoor and outdoor games and indoor electric fireplace. There is a spot for beach fires on the shore by the lake and a propane fire pit on the deck. Our little house caters to couples or small families and has a kitchen table that can sit six. NON-SHEDDING dogs will be considered on a case by case basis. Other things to note Our house is secluded so be sure to take advantage of last stop for food and gas in either Port Hawkesbury or St. Peters before you come. The water is wonderful for swimming but the beach is rocky. Bring water shoes for walking in and out of the water. Depending in the time of the year, black flies and deer flies may be pesky. Come prepared. Government I.D and a profile picture are required for booking. The location is remote and peaceful and not appropriate for loud gatherings.
