Our apartment is located high above the Cèze valley in the medieval village center of Cornillon. The apartment is on the first floor and is part of a property from the 18th century with a courtyard and covered hall. The space The interior of the apartment is spacious and equipped with a lot of comfort. The construction method corresponds to the tradition of the region with noble building materials such as natural stone, chestnut wood and clay panels. Stone carving and ironwork underline the Provençal character. The 95 m² apartment was renovated in 1996 and can accommodate four to six people. In the spacious living room with wood stove there is a comfortable sofa with armchair as well as a dining area and a built-in solid wood kitchen. Guest access The kitchen equipment consists of an electric 4-ring hob, refrigerator, toaster, kettle and coffee maker. The master bedroom has a double bed. A few steps lead to a spacious gallery with a sofa bed and the children's room with two single beds. The bathroom has a shower and toilet. A sun terrace belongs to the apartment. The bathroom has a shower, toilet, washbasin and shelves. There are enough cupboards in the whole apartment. Other things to note The Cèze Valley is located off the beaten track. The location of Cornillon is ideal for day trips to famous places like Avignon, Arles, Nîmes Alès, Uzès. Areas like the Ardèche, the high plateaus and of course the Cèze valley with its gorge are nearby. The Céze Valley is well worth exploring: Vines, sunflower fields and lavender alternate with impressive gorge landscapes. All larger towns (Avignon, Oranges, Nîmes) can be reached in about 60 minutes by car.
