Very nice 13th century tower.

This accommodation has a lot of history since the construction dates back to the 13th century. After some work to bring it up to date, you will have the opportunity to stay in a cozy and charming cocoon. You will find on the ground floor a small equipped kitchen, a living area with fireplace (non-functional), on the first floor a bedroom with sofa bed and open bathroom and on the second floor a second bedroom with a double bed and a desk. The space The dining room lounge has a beautiful fireplace, table, 4 chairs and a small dressing table. Attention the accommodation is composed of a ground floor with kitchen and living room and two floors, one floor with sofa bed and open bathroom the second floor is composed of a bedroom with double bed, so there are stairs! With beautiful views of the countryside and the city, this tower is 45 minutes from Le Mans, one hour from the Châteaux de la Loire and Beauval Zoo. In Saint Calais you can walk around the lake, enjoy walks and shops: you will find very nice restaurants including Le Café de la Paix and L'Hotel d'Angleterre or even the bar L'Hotel de France. On Friday evening you will also find excellent pizza at La Bonne Franquette in Sainte Cérotte as well as a producer's market every other week. Large on site parking. We have a lockbox with code to facilitate your arrival and departure! Linens are provided and beds will be made according to your needs but be sure to take your bath towels. The fireplace is not functional at this time. At your request, a baby crib can be added if needed. A barbecue may also be available. We have two adorable dogs that circulate freely between our house and the garden of this tower which is common with the yard and our garden. We want to protect the surrounding biodiversity as much as possible, so the grass around the tower and elsewhere is less often cut to preserve the moisture and freshness of the soil.
