The owner has lovingly created a sanctuary-like space within the town's premier historic district. Step back in time and enjoy a quiet retreat away from TVs and phones. Your separate, attached one-bedroom retreat awaits and features fine linens, cozy robes, a private bath and a fully-stocked kitchenette including organic tea, coffee, cream and sugar. Step inside: a cool, restful palette adorns a tastefully furnished room that includes period pieces such as an arts-and-crafts style armoire. You'll find a quiet, comfortable bedroom that overlooks an enchanted, fragrant flower garden. This inviting space features wood and tile floors, a ceiling fan, an A/C/heat unit, wall and space heaters, and plenty of windows so that you can take advantage of the abundant natural light and fresh mountain air. The bungalow is kept exceptionally clean using homemade, environmentally-friendly cleaners and a HEPA air purifier. Sorry, no smoking or pets. The on-site owner has been a resident of Ashland for the past 23 years. Your privacy is my utmost priority. If desired, I would be happy to guide you nearby hiking and biking trails, farmer's markets, wineries, hot springs and locally-grown organic food. I am also happy to supply you with anything you need during your stay. Ashland highlights such as the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Lithia Park, Cabaret Theater, downtown plaza, restaurants, shops, and movie theaters are all within a lovely 10 - 15 minute walk. You'll stroll through a level, shaded historic neighborhood and cross a bridge over the gentle waters of Ashland Creek on your way there!
