Our homely warm cottage that was our family home for 18 years before we built further up the hill. Fully renovated, this cottage is situated on our sheep and beef 1500 acre farm, and is beside the Catlins Lake. Surrounded by trees, paddocks, farm animals and fresh country air, it is the perfect spot to unwind and explore the Catlins. Sit on the balcony, take in the peace and just chill. Farm trips to stunning sights on our farm or moving stock with Karl will be possible with notice. The space Our cottage is spacious and warm. The kitchen has a full sized fridge and freezer, an oven with stovetop, a microwave and large pantry. Included are tea, coffee, cooking oil, salt & pepper. There is a fire for the cold days and doors leading to a deck, to open on the hot days. Plenty of games and magazines and a kids playroom . Please note, the TV is for videos only. The three bedrooms are all a good size with beds made up with duvets, bedside tables, lamps and hangings space. Guest access The whole house is for your private use and the fenced lawn. Parking is outside the gate. Other things to note WiFi is available. We are Approx. 1 hour from Dunedin Airport, 3 hours from Queenstown and Wanaka and 5 minutes drive from Owaka. Suitable for singles, couples and small families.
