This centrally located suite offers a balance of nature and beauty without sacrificing access to services, shops and restaurants. Enjoy all the comforts of home and outdoor spaces or relax in front of the fireplace while you unwind after a day of exploring Vancouver Island. The space The suite is located on the ground floor of a single-family home. You will have a private entrance from the left side yard with keypad entry. Hitting the lock symbol will lock the door. To unlock, just enter the 4-digit code provided upon booking. The suite offers a king-sized bed in bedroom 1 and a queen-sized bed in bedroom 2. Both have upgraded medium-firm beds and full-size closets with hangers. There is a full kitchen with a refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, oven, microwave, pots/pans, dishes, cutlery, cooking utensils, spices, salt/pepper, cutting board, knives, Keurig and coffee pods, hot water kettle, toaster, blender and cleaning supplies. The large bathroom has a soaking tub, towels, swabs, cotton pads, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. There is also a full-sized laundry suite with fragrance-free soap and scented dryer sheets. The living room has enough seating for 4 comfortably. The storage ottoman contains throws for chilly weather. There is also a fireplace with a switch on the left side of the fireplace. The dining table will accommodate 4 comfortably. There is a dedicated workspace with a firm bench seat. Feel free to use a dining chair instead. There are two seating areas outdoor. One is a covered patio immediately outside the sliding doors. Closer to the water is a dropped-down lounge area with 4 Adirondack chairs overlooking the water. We highly recommend spending some time there. There is a huge green space you are welcome to use for yoga, picnics etc. Be sure to remove any items when you're done so the grass doesn't die. Guest access Please park on the left side of the garage on the driveway. Access to the unit is through the yard on the left side of the house. You will see the garbage bins there. Getting around will likely require a car however buses run on Dover Road which is a 10-12 minute walk from here. Other things to note The location is ~ ten-minute drive from most grocery stores and services. You can access the beach from staircases at two different parks (Lewis Park and Seabold Park) within a block of the suite. Beach towels are available. Please do not use the white bath towels for anything but bathing. Make up remover towels are available. Please use those or cotton balls to remove makeup.
