This condo is your home away from home (and ours too)! Upgraded underground parking spot is available for additional fee (see below). There are 2 pocket dividers between the bedroom and living room. The kitchen has a stove/oven, over stove microwave, conventional-sized refrigerator/freezer, convection oven, dish washer, coffee makers (small and large), Kurig, small blender, toaster, and fully stocked kitchen with all the basics (and more - like Tupperware, "yeti" cups, etc). There's a bar height table that can seat up to 4 people. Not to mention, a 15 second walk to the pool deck will allow you to grill on a 6 burner stainless steel grill w/ natural gas. The living room has a pull-out queen sofa bed (memory foam mattress) that sleeps 2 adults, a dresser, 50 inch cable Samsung Smart TV (with USB and HDMI inputs), ceiling fan, and fire place. The unit has baseboard heat and also has seasonal A/C for those summer months. (3) DryGuy DX Forced Air Boot Dryers are also located in the living room to dry shoes, boots, gloves, etc. The Bedroom has a queen bed, closet, sink, and 43 inch Samsung Smart TV. It also has 2 touch bedside lamps with USB C and A ports and outlets on each convenient for charging cellular phone and more. The bathroom is spacious and has been remodeled a walk-in tile shower with frameless sliding glasses doors. We decided to cut cable since everyone has their own streaming platforms and this helps us keep rental prices lower. For your comfort, a humidifier and fan are kept in the bedroom closet and extra blankets and pillows are located in the living room chest. The hallway has numerous racks for skis, jackets, snowboards. and gear. A small hard cooler and soft cooler are kept in the closet for use. This condo is located on the subterranean level with a view facing outside. Despite being half under ground, there are two large windows that allow a good amount of sunlight in (especially in the morning). One in the bedroom, and one in the living room. I have thick blinds and curtains on each to block the sunlight. At this level, the unit is kept cooler in the summer months and warmer in winter. The unit's location within the Carriage House complex makes it just seconds from the parking lot and elevator (need to go down 1 floor) for easy move-in/move-out. You wouldn't know it, but the door is just 20 feet from the indoor Jacuzzi (Open Year Round). Unfortunately the heated pool WILL BE CLOSED INDEFINITELY AS OF NOW DUE TO MAINTENANCE. It is normally open approx. April 15th to Oct. 15th. A gas BBQ grill is on the pool deck and a common area locked bathroom is next to the hot tub. The Carriage House has a surface parking lot (Lot E) directly at the main building entrance. If the lot is full, there are surrounding lots that can be utilized. ***As of December 2023, I was lucky enough to secure 1 reserved parking spot in the underground parking garage under the Sheraton Hotel right outside the back door very close to our unit. This is invaluable when arriving to the condo late at night or when it snows. To offset our cost for this reserved parking spot, our guest(s) can utilize it for $5 per day for the trip as an added fee after booking*** This condo is just feet away from the free bus system that will take you anywhere in Park City which means you have instant FREE transportation wherever you want to go. Be it a short 3 min car ride to Park City Mountain Resort or a 10 min car to Canyon Mountain Resort, this condo is perfectly located. After a day on the mountain, you can relax in the indoor jacuzzi literally 20 feet from the condo front door. After that, take a stroll out the backdoor and choose from any of the numerous restaurants. Laundry Washer and Dryer are coin or app operated. They are on the 2nd and 4th levels in the building. A 20 second walk. They are not in the unit. I stock up on and try to provide Suave body soap and 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner. If you are like me when you travel, you bring your own preferable toiletries. There is a Revlon, 2 speed, cool shot Hair Blow Dryer. So pack accordingly. When the condo is booked, I will send you the Welcome Letter that is kept in the condo. A few days prior to your arrival, I will send you the unique Carriage House building code and also your unique condo door code. There are no keys to carry around or worry about losing. Since this is a shared condo (not just for rental, but owner use), we do not accept reservations with ESA, pets, or service animals due to my and my son's allergies to cat/dog dander. - Check in 3 pm / check out 10 am - MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY is 4 persons – This includes infants/children of any age - No Smoking/Vaping to include within 25 feet of building - No Pets - No Parties **For bookings over 1 week, extra cleaning(s) will need to be completed. This is to change linens, refresh towels, provide cleaning, and to assure the condo stays in good shape - no damage. This charge (at current cleaning rate of $100) will be added at booking and the guest will be advised of the extra charge by the host. For example - If it is a 2 week stay, the extra cleaning will be conducted at or about 7 days.** ** Due to limited housecleaning services on Sundays and Holidays, reservations with Sunday and Holiday Check-outs will be accepted only with a $15 fee (Sunday and Holiday Cleaning/Checkout Fee). The Holiday Cleaning/Checkout Fee for CHRISTMAS DAY is $50. This cost will be charged as an "Extra Payment" after reservation is Accepted/Booked. The charge is to offset Sunday and Holiday Cleaning Costs - All money goes to housecleaning. There is a trail for running, walking, and biking nearby called the "rail trail". This take you from the condo (and Prospector area) all the way to downtown main street. There are many restaurants and bars nearby with in walking distance. First off, its is about a 30-35 minute drive from SLC to Park City. Its all interstate, so you are there before you know it. Once in Park City, you do not need to worry about driving, because Park City offers free buses. The condo has 3 bus stops just feet away. Utilize the back door of the building, and you are about a 30 second walk to the bus stop!! This condo is about 3 minutes from Park City Mountain Resort. 10 minutes away from Canyons Base (PCMR) and Deer Valley Ski Resort, and 40 minutes from Snowbird, Alta, Brighton, and Solitude Mountain Resorts. All are on the bus route except Snowbird, Brighton, Alta and Solitude . These mountains have skiing, snowboarding (except Deer Valley, ski only), hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding. The mountain resorts have other fun activities during the summer months. Grocery stores, drug stores, restaurants, gas stations, a liquor store, and every other store you need is just a minute or two away by car. There are many ski/board shops nearby. Out of some of the notable ones, (Cole's & Jan's), I highly recommend The Attic right next to PCMR. I have used them when my luggage was lost. Downtown Main St. is about 5 minutes away by car or 15-20 by bus. This has everything from restaurants, bars, clothing shops, theaters, and other services and shops. About 10 minutes away is Kimball Junction. This has many retail and main stream stores, such as Walmart, Smith's, Bed Bath Beyond, and Best Buy, fast food restaurants, and hotels. Olympic Park is also there that provides many neat things to see and do. Please planning accordingly when dealing with weather. UT and Park City are very good with maintaining their roadways when it snows.
