For those who don’t downhill ski, there are also great x-country ski and snowshoe trails located just down the road at Somerset Reservoir and Grout Pond. Other fun winter activities include snowmobile tours, ice-skating, tubing, and sledding. Summer: Hiking, bicycling, camping and picnicking in the Green Mountain National Forest. Swimming and fishing at Lake Whitingham or Somerset Reservoir— jet skis, kayaks, canoes, pontoons and more can be rented by the day at High Country Marine. Outdoor Camera - Our home is equipped with an outdoor ring camera covering the driveway and front yard for the safety of our guests and home. In addition to the home, guests have access to an indoor community pool, recreation center, and tennis courts. We are available via text, phone, and email and happy to answer any questions! The neighborhood consists of a number of vacation homes as well as some full time residents. All the homes have a good deal of privacy and the neighborhood has an indoor pool/rec center as well as tennis courts. The best way to get around is definitely a car and the home has a large driveway (5 cars can fit without blocking anyone in). When it snows SUV's or trucks are helpful, but the neighborhood is big enough that plows come through pretty regularly.
