What a blessing to be able to enjoy the sun glimmering on the lake in the morning, the fascinating wildlife at play, and the gorgeous Florida sunsets every evening. This is a little piece of heaven and incredibly serene for being located only 15 minutes from Downtown Orlando. Lake Shannon is one of the Top 10 cleanest lakes in Orlando. Take a short walk to East End Market, hip restaurants, coffee and gnoshes at Lobos Coffee Roasters and craft donuts at The Salty! Funky shops, Kelly's Homemade Ice Cream, and the ever-popular indie music retailer Park Ave CDs are a few other hot spots close by. Stay home and relax on the dock, take a swim, and enjoy watching all of the wildlife. The Cady Way Trailhead is a 3-minute drive away. If you happen to book at the right time, there is an amazing view of rocket launches at Cape Canaveral and Fourth of July Fireworks right from the Kiwi Cabana patio and dock! Owners & their French Bulldog, Sophie, live on the property. All are friendly and glad you're here but have minimal if any interaction with guests... we leave that up to our guests! This location can't be beat! It's centrally located so is convenient to downtown, Winter Park, Baldwin Park, and major highways. There is a lot of renovation of the Mid-Century Ranchstyle homes in the neighborhood which has played well since Mid-Century is en vogue again. There is a charming Birdhouse Park, Children's Playground, and Fleet Farming here as well. If you're not familiar with Fleet Farming, take a look around at some of the homes nearby and you will see a large garden area in the front yard. These are maintained and harvested by a group of local folks on bikes who sell the spoils to local restaurants. The homeowners get to keep 30% of the harvest free of charge and without ever lifting a finger!!
